I can't stand them. Their middle-school angst over how unfair life is. Their inane commie bullsh*t. Their songwriting strategy of 'come up with two or three lyrics and repeat them each forty or fifty times'. Zach de la Rocha's horrible grating vocals. Tom Morello's hideous 'bloop bloop doinka doinka' guitar-puke solos. It's like they tailor-made the music to be as unlistenable as possible.

RatM was one of the biggest bands of the 90's. I'm pretty sure people know who they are.

Anyway, I like them. I used to like them a lot, but after listening to much better hard rock/funk/metal/hiphop hybrids (Mostly Faith No More and RHCP) I just like them. I mostly enjoy it for Tom Morello's "bloop bloop doinka doinka" guitar-as Boo described it.

Definitely up there on my list of favorite bands, mostly for Tom Morello and his awesome guitar effects.

I love commies and hippies. Not because I agree with them, but mostly because they scare the bourgeoisie.

I'm not a big fan of them, but I understand how they got popular. They're just not my style of music.

Also, I had heard that 'worst song in the world' before, but upon listening once more, it is still just as epic, if not more, than I remembered.

ratm owns

not only that but they merged with the the best non-metal band ever, which shows their good taste (even if final product was mediocre at best)
