I was too busy listening to Merriweather Post Pavilion to notice that Green Day put out a new album. Actually, I was too busy listening to Merriweather Post Pavilion to notice much anything lately.

^ Have you gotten Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear? It's almost as good as MPP. (There's been some seriously awesome stuff out lately. Pitchfork posted three "Best New Musics" this week alone, Veckatimest being one of them)

Also, I may check 21st Century Breakdown, but mostly to see how much it sucks.

^ I'm very interested in Veckatimest, but money... being a college student... yeah. I'm weary of downloading new music, which explains why I'm excited about the Jesus and Mary Chain even though they haven't released an album in 11 years.

^It's worth the download for Two Weeks alone, but there's a lot of amazing work on there. Gotta give it to Jonny Greenwood for turning me on to Grizzly Bear.

As to Green Day, I'm not interested. They consistently get on my nerves nowadays.
