He was a singer-songwriter from the 90s and this decade. He committed suicide yesterday. His collaboration with Danger Mouse from last year was just announced to finally be released after almost a year of label issues. He was a damn good songwriter, and he'll be missed. |

I knew he was depressed and had, if I remember correctly, attempted suicide once before, but damn. And this is right after we lost Vic Chesnutt and Jay Reatard. Bad few months for musicians, man. RIP Sparklehorse. Man wrote some incredible music. |
