There's really no way to prove the impact that single line has had on the sales of the record. Regardless, it's a label dispute. Not something to do with Perry.

Besides, it's totally legit to reference fragments of song titles and lyrics in publication as fair use and having to do with the press, I don't see how this is anything but a free promotion of the Beach Boys' track if not possibly a parody.
