Well I guess it's funny. But, I think it probably would be funnier if I ever read the book.

I might go see the movie that's coming out (you can see the teaser trailer at http://hitchhikersmovie.com )

I didn't really find it that funny at all. Xp Just a replication of the same joke from the book...incomplete. Xp The joke's a lot funnier in the book, with everything set up so that it leads into...

O.o

HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE MOVIE!?!

(EXPLODE!)

SHW33TNESS BEYOND SHW33TNESS! XD

<.< Though I was a little dissettled by the ending to the fifth book...Xp

(Gigantic spoiler ahead! Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT read this if you don't want the Hitchhiker story to be ruined)

*******Call me a hopeless optimist, but I was really hoping that the world would continue to exist...

In fact, I say that it HAS to exist, due to Douglas Adam's own logic that "Everything has to be somewhere". *Read Starship Titanic* So...I think the series is incomplete. Nay, I'm POSITIVE it's incomplete. Heck, any good series can be continued from where it left off, so stuff had to happen after that.***

End Spoiler. Thank you for your patience

Still, this looks like it's gonna be an awesome movie. Can't wait. ^^

Well, the short wasn't really supposed to be funny. It was more a tribute to a man who died.-jay

Meh. You probably should have made it funny anyway. Then it would be a better tribute.

True...

But I suppose it's better for tributes to represent a person's work.

Also Jay, I greatly respect that you decided to pay tribute to Douglas Adams. A great man, was he. He shall be missed.
