However, there is only 3 weeks until Christmas, and I'm not sure if I would be able to do it on time (I think I might be able to do it if I stick to 5 parts and cut a few unimportant tidbits from the story) I even put together a tentative cast for the comic: Scrooge - Fred Bob Cratchit - Bill Tiny Tim - Baby Bill Sprite Jacob Marley - Dr. Donez The Ghost of Christmas Past - Captain Churro The Ghost of Christmas Present - Citrus Man The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come - Prof Executrain Fezziwig (Scrooges old boss, who held Chirstmas Parties) - Jay Belle (Scrooge's old love) - Jill The Portly Gentlemen (two men who asked for Chrismas donations) - Biggs and Wedge So, what do you think? (If I can't do it this year, I will definitely do it next year) [ December 07, 2004, 05:27 PM: Message edited by: Gimpy ] |

Well, I have decided to go through with the comic, it will be 5 parts like so: Part 1: Introduction/Marley's Ghost Part 2: Ghost of Christmas Past Part 3: Ghost of Christmas Gift...er, Present Part 4: Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come Part 5: Christmas Day/Ending There simple. If I keep each part short (like less than 60 frames) everything should be fine. I'll try to have Part 1 done, and sent to Jay for posting, by Wednesday and if everything goes fine, Part 5 will go up right on time for Christmas (if everything doesn't go fine, part 5 with go up by New Year's)

Scrooge Bob Cratchit - Bill Hatchit Tiny Tim - Minuscule Mel Jacob Marley - Jake Marlez The Ghost of Christmas Past - Same The Ghost of Christmas Present - The Ghost of Christmas Gift...er, Present The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come - Same Fezziwig - Jay-Z Wig (Hmmm, I don't think Jay would like having his character named after a rapper....but, it's SO FUNNY!) Belle (Scrooge's old love) - Jill (they sound close enough, that no change are need) The Portly Gentlemen - Biggs and Wedge (since they have no name, just give them the Character's name) [ December 06, 2004, 09:56 AM: Message edited by: Sean Kelly ] |

Here's the result: ![]() Oh yeah, and I decided that Fred will play 3 roles in the comic: Old Scrooge, Young Scrooge (in the Christmas Past part), and Scrooge's Nephew (who just happens to be named Fred in the story) [ December 06, 2004, 10:15 AM: Message edited by: Sean Kelly ]

Remember to put some minor neglected characters in filler roles (Like in the Ghost thats yet to come bit, there was a group of people who he knew who referred to him being dead, and Old Joe (the criminal) with the people who stole scrooges stuff)) |

A good plan. Why was it a good plan? Because it was a good plan. Not your regular old FDR good plan, but a good plan. I mean, come on, any other plan would look like nothing next to this plan. The Normandy Invasion was a cakewalk compared to this plan. The plan of all plans. The Master plan. The Ultimate plan. The one and only plan. The...oh, just make the comix! ![]() |

I managed to find the story posted online, which will really help me out with the narrative. Too story itself it spread into 5 parts, called "Staves," which I am going to incorporate into the comic. I'll try to have par...Stave 1 ready for tommorow. |

Jay is not really comfortable posting comix in NC that are not his, and I don't think this comic would really fit in mysteries. So, there will be no Neglected Christmas Carol in the forseeable future. Oh well, there is still LOTW |
