Gah. There isn't even a part 2 yet! You lose.

And then there's the matter of which forum this belongs in. I mean, it's a comic, which reeks of fan-comic-forumness. But it's still NC related.

^^He's referring to the part two Jay originally made, unless you knew that.

Yeah, only the text based episodes actually need remaking. The new editions fit in between the comix-based episodes that Jay made.

With this, you can now read 1, 2, 3, and 4 in succession.

Is everyone speaking through telepathy or something?

No, the speach bubbles are used because that's what Jay used in the Mushroom Wars that he made. It's for continuity and stuff. I told ya, you gotta read them in order.

Hey. Yeah, I just read it now. Pretty good.

-The Donez joke was awesome. Funny.
-It doesn't really follow the Part 3 text at all. Oh well. The stuff you did was good. Should some of those scenes from the text version be added?
-If I remember, the Koopa Kids didn't form DAD, Bowser and Luigi did.
-You probably could get rid of those thought bubbles...they just look bad. Heh. A bad remnant of my early comic days. But Reid didn't use them in the Part 1 Special Edition, so you can probably get rid of them
-If I'm going to put this on the site (I may), you'll need to break it up into frames.

Anyone else have any comments?-jay

Yeah, I realise D.A.D is formed by Bowser and Luigi in the original text, but I'm taking a few creative liberties with it, similar to how Lord Reid did. Anyway, I needed the Koopa Kids to send Phone, in order to fit with the flow of the story. I sorta have a general idea of what will happen stored in my brain.

BTW, I have them all saved as individual frames, but I can only post eight images at once on the forums, which is why I combined some into one frame.

Yeah...but that's a little bit bigger than a creative liberty...it just doesn't fit with the entire rest of the story. I mean, I refer to Bowser and Luigi as "DAD" for the rest of the comic. Plus, it doesn't make any sense for the Koopa Kids to send Phone the Clone after Mario. They're fighting Bowser, not Mario. Bowser and Luigi (DAD) are the ones fighting Mario. That's the whole point of the stupid story. Heh.-jay

Just wait till after part five. It's gonna be out soon. Things will make sense...or at least, as much sense as a comix is supposed to make.

Okay, I hope it doesn't matter that I post here although the thread's old.
I like the Special Edition! It's great. And the best part was the Donez joke. Great!
I just can't wait for the other parts to read...
