(as promised) Bill and Fred's Quazi-Mediocre Adventure: Special Edition (prologue) - VGF

Hi there! I didn't know where to post this. It's a comic, so it might be moved, but it's NC, AND an SE of Bill and Fred. I'll be redoing the story to be a little non-copyish. Ex: CAMEOS. It will be frames (unlike what Alph did. NOT THAT I'M FLAMING HIM!), so don't post until the prologue's done. Oh, and [my friend's name was removed for security reasons], I told you it'd be up today!

Ugh, this is HORRIBLE. First off, the jokes are nothing like the original. The original was funny. This isn't. Jokes about angst over Legos? The pointing out the obvious rip-off of Majora's Mask? And worst yet, an author joke making him seem all powerful??! My God, you're insulting the tradition of NC.

I don't think it was that bad. Bad, yes. That bad? Very yes. But... wait, I forgot where I was going with this.

Crappy resolution desert picture? Bad.

Randomly transforming sprites and fonts? Very bad.

Author joke? Bad.

Crappy special effect in a Special Edition? Nasty.

Cluttered text? Awful.

Pointless header image when you're already double-posting just so you can post enough frames? Bad.

On the other hand, I liked the way Fred wanted to go after the current author and decided that it was too hard, so he just decided to go after Jay for no real reason. It was a Fred moment. I like it.

And NC's a tradition now and not a quazi-mediocre sprite comic maintained by Jay for the heck of it? When did that happen? Oh, I get it, it happened in magical L007 fairyland where up is down and down is up and NC is an exclusive fancy sprite comic and not something Jay does when he's not feeling too lazy.

Bill and Fred doesn't need a Special Edition. It's already a classic just the way it is.

Evil Luigi Story needed a Special Edition, because it was Jays first comix.

Mushroom Wars needed a Special Edition because only half the parts were even in comix format.

So you probably shouldn't bother with this. It's pointless, and it's not nearly as good as the original. Besides, your stealing my thunder.

Your comic making ability is lackluster. This would be fine, except one with less ability than Jay should not attempt to make one of his masterpieces better. You see the other special editions? Yeah. They have photoshop-quality special effects and expand into places the original did not. This should be called the 'Mediocre Edition.'

B) The sprite design is awful
C) So why were the sprites changing appearences?
D) Bill randomly decided to kill Jay instead of you.

But D and E aren't even flaws. Jay himself had Candy Land jokes, and I thought D was probably the best part of this sorry excuse for a comic.

And Metal Man, Mediocre Edition would imply awesome since Quazi-Mediocre Adventures are apparently just that. Maybe "Crappy Edition".
