Who Gave Peach the map in the Beginning? He appears to be and Old Man and in the First Grodus Cut scene they show is troops talking about an Old Man getting the Map from them. What was up with Luigi in the last few Bowser Scenes? Why are Enemies that where Exclusive to Bowser's Castle in the First Paper Mario(Koopatrals, Hammer Bros. Magikoopas ect.) just roaming around the Rougeport Sewers Aimlessly? Why didn't Kolorado have an Appearance? I find it Very unlike him to not come after this Mysterious Treasure. |

I might have some idea as to why these things happen: 1) I have no idea as to how Grodus had the map in the first place or as to how one old man could have easily taken it from him, but the old man's identity might be... nah. 2) Bowser's troops were stationed in the sewers probably due to Bowser's orders as to look for the Crystal Stars there (after all, the Thousand Year Door is down there), but they were probably wandering around aimlessly because they were unsupervised and bored. I mean, who wouldn't goof off at their job now and again? 3) As for Kolorado. Nintendo has a BAD habit of killing off random characters - characters that could have made a name for themselves - for no apparent reason. Such examples include: Darunia, Saria, Ruto, Nabooru, Bill Gray, Katt Monroe, Raz, and Raini. Why they do this... I don't know. Maybe they think its funny. But whatever it is, it's making people mad. You remember Bill Gray from Star Fox 64, right? His appearance was only in the game and not even in the manga based on it! Katt Monroe was thrown aside with the excuse that she fell for someone else. That's irresponsible character management... ![]() |

If you hadn't pointed out later that that was supposed to be a joke, I wouldn't have guessed. It wasn't funny like a joke. It wasn't clever like a joke. It was just a bad observation. Just sayin'. |

As for Kolorado, I've already explained it in my previous posts. Nintendo has a bad habit of killing off good characters. (What's worse: Nintendo kills off the character, never uses them again, and still holds the copyright of that character). |

There's a man with robes and a hood that covers his face selling stuff at rogueport. He shows Peach a box, and shows that he cannot open it. He tells Peach if she can open it, she can keep what's inside it. So she opens it, it shines a lot, then it shows the title screen with the "press start". |

Anyway, regardless whether Bowser had known of it or not, he would have still sent his troops to various places in search of the stars. Also, the cloaked figure could have been lying about the only one with pure heart can open it bit. After all, you never actually saw anyone else try to open it. Or, the person could have already known what was inside it and was counting on Peach to open it which makes more sense. |
