Mmm... all right. Sorry, I misunderstood the first time. Anyway, this is kind of stupid to be arguing over something like this in the first place.

Plus your post makes three pointless posts. It's commonly a browser loading problem, and you really just should ignore it.

Nintendo's big mistake is writing the words Katamari DS in Nintendo Power, when they had no confirmation from Namco.

Yeah? Did you see the video?
I think there will be a lot of GREAT games with the controller.
The only problem is that it can't be the Revolution's only controller - there must be an "old" controller too!

^It has ports for Cube controllers.

Yes. But you can't really count that!
First, they aren't wireless. The players of Next-Gen consoles will want to have these!
Second, you have to buy Gamecube controllers extra. They won't be in the standard Revolution pack you buy.
This means that game developers can't create games just for the GC controller, because they can't be sure everybody has one.
The GC controller ports are just for GC games.

You can use the Wavebird for a wireless GC controller...

I like Mario Is Missing and Mario's Time Machine, myself. I have a thing for stuff that's totally stupid, as long as it has its charm.
I'm getting tired of all the Mario sports titles. Mario's been playing golf since '85, so you'd think we'd be getting tired of it by now.

Romplayer, people have to buy extra controllers anyway.
Besides, the Rev controller is already equipped to handle most of the cartridge-system games; Cube titles should be all you need the Cube controller for.

Well, the Revolution controller can't even be used for SNES games perfectly!
People have to buy new controllers if they want to play with a friend together. Not if they play alone!
Anyway: Expect you want to play games with four players. Now you have to buy 4 Revolution controllers for games that make use of it AND 4 GC controllers for games that don't.
So you need 8 controllers!

I'm really looking forward to the Revolution. I think it will be great, especially the controller.
But I'm afraid of Nintendo making a really big mistake if they forget that there are a lot of people that just want to play with "normal" controllers.

Again, dude, the ONLY games that will need the Cube controller are Cube games, and most of the people who will play those already own them, so they already have the controllers. Besides, they're a lot cheaper now, even new.

And like I already said, no system comes with 4 controllers in the box. None of them. You have to buy extras anyway.

The only lack of buttons I can see for any of the old games is the N64's B button.

I want you to make a list right now of games that require rumble. Not just where it's fun, but where it's necessary.

Again, dude...
In MY opinion it will be a big problem if the only games that will need the Cube controller are Cube games.
There are a lot of people who want to play video games with an "old" gamepad, not with the new Revolution controller. That's why I think many people won't buy the Revolution, and just because of this dumb thing!

So my suggestion is to create a new basic controller, which can be used as the new remote control AND as an "old" gamepad. Like the picture IGN made.
If Nintendo would sell their extra controllers this way, the game developers could be sure that people have bot controller types - and they could also design games that make use of the "old" gamepad, for those who don't like the new one. They could even let the gamer decide through options menu which one they want to use.

And how do you want to play SNES games? The SNES controller has 4 action and 2 shoulder buttons, furthermore a Start and Select button.
The Revolution has 3 action and 1 shoulder button, nothing more. If you take the joystick addon you'll get two buttons more, but you won't be able to play properly because the buttons aren't at good places for SNES games.

You forget about the majority of people. They want to have rumble feature the same way they want to have a wireless controller now. If the Revolution doesn't offer one of them, it will loose lots of buyers.
Just look at the "You can watch DVDs with PS2!" feature. Many people just bought the PS2 only because of this feature - although you could say "Hey, it's just a gaming console, this isn't needed!"

Nintendo will loose again, if they don't offer wireless controllers with rumble feature or traditional gamepads. Because it's too hard work for game developers to create multi platform games for the Revolution. They will say "It costs too much money to change our control system for the Revolution in our new game, so let's just release it for PS3 and Xbox360!"
