Wow!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...rio_Characters

I'm impressed.

The funny things are the Cultural References that I didn't intend. Or for that matter, the Cultural References that are just completely wrong. Heh.-jay

It's funny how many references happen whenever VG is in the comic, as witnessed by the large amount of references which include his name in them.

It's also amazing to know about references which I didn't even know about... huh.

It didn't mention the part about Sabin cameoing in Mario Busters when Rayman is chasing him around in the chapter where they reach Lemmingland.

Quote:
ActRaiser 2:
Mario Busters Part 15: Tanzra is one of the early 1990s Enix villains being debated on by the Mario Busters. Tanzra later shows up to defeat Team RAY after what Kefka said about Squaresoft being the best.
Tanzra debuted in the first ActRaiser, and in fact the form of him that fries Team RAY is the one from the first.

Quote:
The Maryland Terrapins vs. Duke Blue Devils rivalry

Mario Busters Part 15: The machine Mario uses to fight the Mario Busters has "The Anti-Duke" written on its side. Although Jay didn't write this episode (CodieKitty did), Jay is a Maryland fan.
No, it has that written on the side because it's the final boss of the GBC Duke Nukem.

I'm surprised someone was crazy enough to make the list (and it so happens his name is Crazyswordsman)

You know I like this guy's (Crazyswordsman) enthusiasm and stuff, but he has absolutely NO IDEA how to properly format the entries (which resulted in the article being tagged for needing cleaning) and I have to clean up after him every time he updates (which is quite often).

Oh yeah, and about Bionic Commando, its hero Ladd Spencer is the one pinning the Esin to the tree in Chapter 13.

Yeah... It's kind of sad, seeing all of my lame jokes collected onto one page.

Oh! Apparently they also made a Super Mario 4 page.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super_Mario_4

WTF???

I'm glad someone removed the "Maryland vs Duke" one, since that didn't make any sense at all, heh.

Although I am a Maryland fan...and I do hate Duke... Maybe I should make a reference of that. Heh.

I personally added all the LOTW cultural references, so far(most of which were intentional)

Hmmm...If you truly like this page, you should voice your support for it before it's deleted.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikiped...rio_Characters

Edit: Don't voice TOO much support. Otherwise, Wikipedia may get suspicious.

Someone tell Swordman to put his signature on his 'Keep' vote; as passionate as it is, it needs that... I think. Not sure. I decided to finally make an account, seeing as I had earlier stared at Dai Greipher's stupidity and then helped the guys on SSS with their Wiki. I may make my own too. For SSQ.

Um...interesting...didn't know about some of the things before. (I still don't like some of them)

IMO, they should morph that article to the NC one(I remember one beingt made) insted of deleting it...

Sean, maybe you could direct Crazyswordguything to the Wikipedia tutorial? I'd do it, but he hasn't met me yet and that would just be creepy. (Also, aside from disambiguation, I have jack squat to do with the NC articles.)

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

The Crazy Swordsman has a point and Apostrophe and others like him are chewing him up because of it. Even though some of what's on his list of references are off, it doesn't deserve deletion like idiot Apostrophe says.

Now Smithy, that's entirely the wrong thing to say. We're guests on their encyclopedia, not the other way around. Only through polite argument can one reach a consensus on the page. Apostropheman is not an idiot, merely someone trying to do his job. And after reading up on Original Research and all, it seems the law is straight; there is a good chance it will be deleted for the reason that it's nothing that would be published anywhere besides that page, since not even Jay realized all of those things.

It may have been a better idea to make some web pages and send them to Jay to add to his site.

That is a better idea. Now why didn't he think of it?

This doesn't have much to do with anything, but I feel like posting it:

More on topic:

Quote:
The Sixth Sense

NC/SSS Crossover Mach 2 Part 7: Wedge says that he and Biggs are victors in a "Sixth Sense."
Er, what?

Quote:
Spaceballs

Mario Busters Part 11: Luigi sings the song Princess Vespa sings when she's imprisoned.
I honestly think I was picturing some Bugs Bunny scenario when I put that line in there.

Quote:
Richard Nixon

NC/SSS Crossover Mach 2: Nixon disguises himself as "Carter" and proceeds to open a poisoned taco stand.
WTF?!

As for the deletion thing, I have no idea how to write in Wikipedia, but I think it'd be best to merge it with the one about NC. Sure, it needs some serious work, but it's worth keeping somehow.

Although after reason a few more BS ones (I don't think that fire hydrant comment had anything to do with Earthbound) I'm starting to have memories of Flying Omelette's Cameo Database.
