After 21 months, I think you might be wondering what happened in LOTW.

In short, Jay never got to part 5 and I slowly lost interest.

HOWEVER!

I'm thinking of reviving the series. I will not, however, return to doing a scene-by-scene LOTR parody, since the series will probably be going on forever.

Instead, Part 5, which I may start as soon as this Friday, will go an entirely new route. Sure, LOTR references will still show up, for continuity and title sakes, but from now on the series will take on a life of it's own........

(note: For a hint on something I'm planning for Part 5, look up one of the earliest topics talking about LOTW)

The series was originally supposed to follow LOTR very loosely if I remember, with a plot with similar elements but not an actual parody. It would be best if you compromised the original idea with the one you're planning now. -CSM

Hmm, maybe we could do something with this. I could go with a more LotRish LotW and you can go with very loosely based on it?

Like, Part 6 would show up like this:

Part 6(LotR based)
Part 6(Loosely based)

Something like that, it can be worked out.

EDIT: As for you doing a part. Well........I looked at some of your previous webcomic work and.....I'm not too impressed.

I'd be glad to incorporate some of your ideas, but I think I would be better from an artistic point of view.

I am sorta better. I didn't have backgrounds because I didn't really feel like making any. If I actually tried, I could probably spend the time doing backgrounds for this and stuff.

Besides, that comic is a bit defunct. I had another comic that incorporated actual backgrounds (32-bit, GBA style.) I see if I can find them.

I will, but honestly, if I want help I need someone I could 100% trust to make decent quality comic.

Plus, the way I made comics is that I have them mostly all worked out in my head beforehand. Hence, anything you do may disrupt future parts for myself.

Either way, the next part will be done by me. I will decide at a later time if someone else will jump in (especially if Jay is still on a comic-making hiatus).
