^I thought I heard that every character from SSBM would return, and all clones would be de-cloned.

Zero Suit "activates" when Samus takes a certian amount of damage, I think...

^ Nope. I remember reading that several characters will be removed.

The characters that will be removed will probably be Pichu, Dr. Mario, Roy, and Young Link. Ganondorf will probably recieve a new moveset, and Young Link will probably be replaced by WW Link.

Everyone else is safe, though.

Wart, Smith, and Waluigi have pretty much no chance. Geno is possible.

Diddy and possibly K.Rool(with cosmetic changes for costumes) would work.

Majora is doubtful. Sheik may not make it. Young Link is unknown, but may be replaced with WW Link. No clones allowed is Sakurai's statement.

Dark Samus probably won't.

Falco may get the boot. Wolf probably won't, since there's too much of a chance of lazy cloneage. Krystal has a good chance with her Staff.

King DeDeDe is not indefinate, but he could make it.

Scyther and Deoxys are doubtful. Pichu probably will be removed only because of clones. Munchlax is actually the most likely candidate.

Black Shadow was represented indirectly by C. Falcon's black costume. He's not needed, nor does he provide any indefinate new moves. Goroh however does. That, and Black Shadow isn't amongst the original cast of F-Zero.

Ness has a good chance of coming back and not being replaced by Lucas or Claus. Ice Climbers may be taken out. Mr. GAW could also be taken out.

Roy or Marth will stay in. We'll only get ONE more FE character. Having 3 is worthless, since we have few FE games out in America.

Sonic and Megaman are the only likely character on that list.

Nightmare is beyond doubtful, as he's too much of a Big-Ass-Sword user and Ganondorf will take that spot. Other than that, I can't remember much non-sword and kick moves. Link also covers most of that area. Not needed.

No Third Party Company will have more than 1 character from the specific series like Sonic, Castlevania, Megaman, etc.

As for the couple of posts...

It is unknown whether Samus and Zero-Suit Samus will be a transformation like Zelda/Sheik. Stop assuming.

That could also be describing her appearance in Metroid Fusion. While it points to possibly being a transformation, it is not OFFICIAL.

Hence why I specifically said that to the earlier posts.
