The Finnish one got a direct rip from the television opening. What's interesting is that the Swedish song has two different versions, one for each season. This was because of different companies doing the dubbing. The one you're familiar with is the better one, which was used for episode 66 and forward. The one I have in the header must be the CD version. In the show the actual song sounds noticeably different, the "Doot-dee-doot-dee doot-dee-doodoo-dee" intro only plays once, there's no "When it seems they're heading for a final curtain..." verse, only has the "D-d-d-danger..." verse once, and concludes with with "Not pony tails or cotton tails, no Ducktales! *duh-DUH-duh DUT*!" instead going on and fading out. I don't know if the show had two versions of the song, but I do know it had two version of the scenes in the intro, one for pre-Bubba and Gizmoduck, one for post-Bubba and Gizmoduck. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? I mean two show versions with completely different lyrics. The older version: YouTube - Ducktales Swedish Opening EDIT: Hmm, now that I listen carefully to it, it seems this version is much closer to the English original in lyrics. YouTube has Japanese Ducktales, which is hilarious. ![]() Where are these lemmings going? Not the Super Nintendo Super Shire! They know to go to Codiekitty.com now! |
