What has happened to the NC Forum? - VGF

When I first came to VGF, The NC forum was a very peaceful place, no bashing, no SPAMing, and the only member people hated was Meg, and then my computer broke and it took months before they got it to the shop and for it to be fixed, and by the time I finally got my computer back, I had fogotten about VGF and NC until I saw an idiot in computer class saying Jay was a retarded moron and said that Bill and Fred was a good as a piece of (Bleep). So I remembered about VGF and NC and then came back to find the place practically torn apart! Now all I see instead of the nice peaceful topics and worst video game ideas ever are "BAN MAX!!!", "KILL ZAK!!" and "KAMEK RULES AND ZAK AND MAX ARE STUPID!!! DESTROY THEM IMMEDIATLY!!!" Topics that are anything but good! What has happened to the peaceful NC forum I returned to see? I don't mean to point fingers, but ever since Kamek posted his comic, it turned online friends against eachother!
I've never seen anything like this! It's World War 3 in here!!

So my point is this: Please Jay and fellow Mods of the NC Forum, please restore this warring forum to the wonderful and peaceful forum this place used to be. Okay, I know you probably won't listen to me, so you can just lock this.

No, I know that it was kinda boring, I'm talking about ending this fiendish war, basically, ending the "BAN MAX!!" and "KILL ZAK!!" Topics. And No I will not leave VGF, because I come from a bad place where Girls should like Girl stuff and Boys should like boy stuff. I like Video games, Boy anime like G gundam, Sports, Yu-Gi-Oh, and I think that girl stuff like Sailor moon is boring. And that way, I'm shunned from the other girls and I come here because this is the only place where people will understand me.

Heh. Don't look at me. I only have so much control over what you all do. It's not that hard to make the NC Forum a hard place. I can only do so much. I post fun topics like NC Deathmatch discussions and Mad Libs. You all can do that too. But I can only do so much in terms of the fighting. That's something that you all have to be mature about. But it's up to you. Personally, I don't think that the fighting is out of control. It pops up every once in a while, but that's normal. If you want the NC Forum to be a fun place, just post some fun topics and be positive. If people are mean, then I always do what I can do fix things, but like I said, I can't do everything. I can't change someone's attitude. My only hope is that you all realize that everyone here has feelings, try not to be mean, and try to just have fun.-jay

I Understand. I'm shunned from a few boys in my school because of my weenie appearance, my usual silence, and the occasional dissing rappers and shouting spontaneous stuff. Course, they're just a small fraction. Most everyone I know is a nice person, because of my nice community. P.S: I, too, hate the sexist rules that says boys gotta do this and girls gotta do that, and other superficial rules.

Actually, now that I think about it, there hasn't been a lot of Daniel or Zak bein bashed since Dark Stime/MREKRABS (Whichever he decides to be for the day...) showed up with his "funny" comix.

To Timmy Koopa: I'm shunned at school too. Alot of short kids picked on me when I was younger, probably because I was one of the tallest and they were jelous because I take after my dad. Also, Just because I want to keep out of a body cast and don't try out for football doesn't mean I'm a weenie. I earned alot of respect from some people after I punched out Branden Bastard and one of the school bullies. And you're right, I hate sexists. In my school, boys who join the Tennis team are shunned, no matter whether they're a Prep, Goth, or a Jock, they become a nerd instantly. Same with when they sign up for golf.
To Android Number 18: I think you're overexaderating just a tad. I don't see any "Ban max" Or "Kill Zak" Topics. Though they basically are in NC forum peeps.
To Jay: This fighting has gone way out of control. Ever since Kamek posted that whole "Kamek makes a Sprite comic?" Topic, the fighting has gone way up, and there were alot of negative topics saying "Max is stupid" after that. After it is locked, the spirit of evil has spread to the other people...There is no way to purge it from the users posessed by the spirit of evil and bashing, (Yes even you 18, because you said that Mr. E Krabs is just plain annoying, and you probably hurt his feelings too) We can make this place a happy forum, but as long as there is darkness in people's hearts (And Computers), people will continue to bash other people and be mean to others. (Boy that was cliched, no more Final Fantasy IV for me no siree!)
To Introbulus: You have made a point, where is Kamek? Is he just watching 18's attempts to fix the forum and cackling hysterically? If he does return to the NC forum (Most likely before 2004) someone needs to teach him that the whole world has feelings too, even Max. None of you guys know what I put up with at school.

The only real problem I have, Kamek, is when someone else puts up a comix (some newb), and you say what you feel (you say it sucks for example), then you (and other people) say that the comment is OK. But when you post your comix, and people say what they feel (aka they find it insulting), then you (and other people) say those comments are not OK. I really don't see any difference between the two. They are both forms of criticism. So should people be allowed to criticize comics, or not? People are constantly telling newbies who post comics to be able to accept criticism. I just think you need to take that advice as well.-jay

I think it makes perfect sense. If Kamek is allowed to critisize/insult other people's comics, why can't they critisize/insult his? It seems quite unfair to say that one person has the right to insult other people and the 'other people' do not have this right. You're putting the other people in a "Lose/Lose" situation. Why the hell would anyone ever come to the NC Forum then, if they were in this situation? I think that if you all can say that a person's comix sucks for whatever reasons you have, then other people can say that a comix sucks because they find it insulting. Who cares if you think it is irrelevant or not. These are real people you are insulting, not monkeys. They know when they are insulted. Just because you fail to see it doesn't make it irrelevant. And I'm not saying that the people who are insulted are right, either. What I'm saying is that they have a true, and reasonable criticism about the comix and it should be adressed maturely.
