LVK, just chill out.

The old NC Chatroom I closed down not only because of the various technical problems that popped up all the time, but because everyone was acting like JERKS. It wasn't fun to listen to everyone bicker about Having Op Power, Stupid Bots, or whatever. THAT'S why the old chat closed down.

LVK, if you and/or Kamek have made a chatroom for NC to use and you think that everyone can be cool about it, then what you have to do is talk to me about it.

Going around being pissed off and saying "GOD I HATE YOU ALL!" is NOT going to get anything accomplished.

I havn't heard any details about a chatroom from either you or Kamek in a long while. I remember in the last "Should I make the NC Chat again" topic I made a month or so ago, you got pissed off like this again and yelled about how you already made an NC Chat. Well, LVK, if you made an NC Chat that we can use, you have to TELL me about it. Where is it, how do people use it, ect. Being pissed off isn't going to solve anything.

And definately don't take out your hatred on Sean. He's been trying to run the SMBHQ chatroom for a while now, even though it's activity has been low. I was talking to Sean one day and mentioned that I was thinking about using the SMBHQ chatroom for NC, since that would solve both problems. The SMBHQ chatroom would get more activity and NC would have a stable chatroom. I think that's the best plan that helps everyone.

So DON'T go around acting all pissed off. IF you are pissed off, please, by all means, send me an IM and yell and scream at me all that you want. But don't take this out on Sean or anyone else at NC.-jay

Sorry about that Jay, but considering I told you many times, I tend to get mad. Sean does good work, sure, and I have no reason to take it out on him, so sorry to him too. But Jay, I told you about it a long time ago. Your computer was broken so you didn't update the site with it. I understood. You came back and I reminded you again, thus starting a chain of me reminding you and you not updating.

EDIT: AND I had a topic about NC chat news, WITH a link to a java applet, the mIRC info, and how to use the java applet.

Thanks, LVK. I'm appologize as well for any annoyance that you've felt as a result of my rudeness.

And you did post a link to the NC Chatroom page that you made. So I appologize that I missed it. But I can only remember two times when this page was brought to my attencion. Actually, I can only really remember one, the time in this topic. But I also assume that you told me at least once when you made the page, which was probably way back when during the time we were all knee deep in trying to figure out the NC Chatroom problem.

Anyway, my only excuse for ignoring it the first time is probably because I was so fed up with everyone (and myself) for how the Chatroom was going, that I just wanted to ignore the entire issue for a while.

As for the second time, in this topic, I don't know why I didn't follow up on it. Probably because at the time I was in the middle of school problems and computer problems. But either way it was wrong of me and I appologize.

So those are the only two times I can think of that you talked to me. Knowing my forgetfulness with the site, you probably could of reminded me a little more, heh.

But lets just try to forget all of that. Now, I never really officially asked Sean to make the new NC Chatroom for me. As I said, I was just talking to him before about how I wanted to bring back the NC Chatroom, and the SMBHQ chatroom seemed like a easy way to solve a couple of problems. Sean was then nice enough to set up the NC Channel for me.

Now, this seems like it will be a nice idea, but like some other people here, I've been having problems using the SMBHQ chatroom as well. I've only tried to use it a coupel of times since Sean made teh new version, and havn't had too much luck. So what I'd like to do is see if we can all get the new chatroom working, the one at SMBHQ. Let me and Sean know if you're having problems or if you can get it up and running.

If this SMBHQ chatroom completely falls through, then I'd like to look back into LVK's chatroom. See if that's a good idea.

But the main reason why I'd like to go with SMBHQ's chatroom for now is because Sean has put a lot of work into it, and it's slow goings getting people to use it. I figured that the popularity of NC and the lackness of chatroom would be great to fix this problem. But we'll see how it goes.

So I don't want anyone to be annoyed or anything. We can all work on this together. The main goal here is for NC (and SMBHQ) to have an easily accessed Chatroom for people to come in and have a good, fun time, without many problems. As long as we all work towards this goal, it's all cool. But we just need to talk. Heh. Soemtimes you have to remind me of things a few times. So are we all cool now? I'm cool. At least as soon as we get this chat working. Heh.-jay

P.P.S. If Sean's chatroom is difficult for people to set up, we should let him know so we can work on making it easier.
