I know this is not NC related. But I want to reach the most people and this is one of the most active forums.

I ask you all, is there such thing as TOO MANY video games. I myself have over $1000 of video game merchantise (note: Canadian Dollars). My Dad says that's enough. He's says I should save for college.

Is it possible to save for post secondary education and maintian my hobby, I tried getting a job, but no one hired me.

Well, I guess it depends how old you are. I mean, I don't see why you'd be expected to worry about college unless you were somewhere around 16. But even then I would hope that your parents would help at least a little in paying for your college education. But I don't see why you should cut off gaming all together. Maybe you should just work on limited yourself to the games that you really want. That's what I do, as a college student.-jay

Thats it? Iv'e spent over $1300 on GC mechandise alone! (Twelve games, 2 GC's, one wires fried.The inside melted.)But' I'm only thirteen.Stick to the free stuff. Roms and Emulators.

I have no clue how much I've spent.
But I know that if had saved my money instead of blowing it on video games,I'd be rolling in dough.

I'm 17 years and 10 months old, so I should save up.

I been meaning to ask yopu Jay, what are you studing?

P.S. I don't like ROMs or Emulators, there not the true thing.

I have 6 SNES games, 13 N64 Games, 6 GCN Games, 6 GBC Games, 5 GBA Games, A GBA, A GCN, An N64, A SNES, and a GBC, A GBC/GBA Link-Up, 2 Memory Cards for GCN, a Wave Bird, 2 Regular GCN Controllers, 3 N64 Controllers, and 3 SNES Controllers. That's a lot of money. Tell your dad that it's your money in a nice way.
