I'm failing to see how saying that you knew you were breaking the truce absolves you from, y'know, BREAKING THE TRUCE, but hey I guess that two-panel ad was just so gosh-darned important it couldn't wait a week to go up.

Well... it might be in your interest, that just in this moment I'm working on a huge speech. I think I will separate it in a few parts so I can post the first one today or tomorrow instead of waiting until everything is finished. I have a lot to say.
I haven't read the posts here since December 24, so it could be I miss something of the later things in my first parts, but I will make my way chronologically anyway.

It appears Sean's asking for a truce on mudslinging is about as efficacious as a wet sock.

I thought the server NC is on didn't support PHP?

Anyway, the way that the website is laid out could use an update, if not the general look of the site.

SMBHQ.com currently supports PHP (though there was a period after a server change when it didn't, which really annoyed me)

I'd be all for a layout change, if someone were to make one. I'd like to see it first though. And I'd probably be more in favor of a new layout that also kept some of the style of the old layout.

After a short vacation, our campaign is back and re-energized to continue the fight for the office. Metal Man raises an interesting point - nobody's actually given a detailed plan... including him. So, in response, every day this week, we'll be explaining one of the tenets of our campaign.

Doing Things for NC
NC has been inactive as of late, with few updates besides shorts. This will change under a Donez administration. I will encourage everybody on VGF to submit something to the site, and I will make things for the site myself. If elected, my first project will be to make affiliate buttons and banners and try to find sites to affiliate with us. Other projects in the pipeline are a series, which I'm hoping to work with somebody else on, and a few shorts.

Weapons
Dr. Donez and Fred have come under fire (excuse the pun) for their ownership of artillery - the Deathzooka (which Metal Man ripped off) and the Death Ray respectively. Let it be known that the two candidates have made a pact to use these weapons only for the good of NC-Land, such as against outside intruders like Mario.

Funds
There will be no misappropriation of funds or corruption under a Donez administration. This is not a huge issue, but recently, a fellow candidate has come under fire for accusations of corruption. Therefore, we felt the need to set the record straight.
