I'd like to open up the floor to any ideas and/or comments about the next part. |

You learn more from repeated work than you do from trying to perfect each thing--at least, if my intuition from Jay's own way of doing things is good. Just be sure to be yourselves with the humor, instead of, say, trying exclusively to mimic Jay. I find the guest comic people who spend all their time trying to mimic Jay look artificial and fail to do the same as even, say, those who just do their thing and reference Jay's stuff while they're at it. |

EDIT: I just re-read LOTW and I forgot how funny some of the stuff I did was (especially the "Spanyard Man" bit and the "You'll Shall not Pass" sequence) Last edited by Sean P Kelly; 01-13-2008 at 03:36 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost | |

I have four day weekends this semester, so I should have some free time to work on another part of LotW. Can someone please remind me what happens next though? -CSM |

I need to know because I'm portraying you as a famous movie reviewer in the opening teaser. Also, what's your sprite? -CSM |

Some... where... out... there... *dies* Gender: Posts: 12,760 Thanks: 194 Thanked 504 Times in 235 Posts | Heh. hey now, I never remember insisting anything. Anyway, I started with gifs when I started NC since from what I understood, that's all I had to work with. I'm not sure when pngs starting being used, but for a while I remember them not being well supported by browsers. I basically kept with gifs out of lazyness/ignorance/agnosticism/apathy. But you all can use whatever you want. And you have my blessing with the comic. Let me know if you need anything from me.-jay |
