I finished LotW part 6.

Sean looked it over and gave me the okay to send it to Jay, so I did that. In the meantime, I might as well release a preview of what's to come.

Yeah, I gave the OK.

The style is very different from other NC comic and sometimes the sprites are a bit pixelly, but it was fair enough.

I'm sorry about the pixelly sprites. I was trying to find a groove, but I'm done with that (and compared to stuff like 8-Bit, whose sprites are sometimes so pixelly it's hard to make stuff out), and I'm sorry about the different style (I didn't want it to look like I just drew some lines on in MS Paint, I wanted to make it look like it was worth the 6+ hours I put into it). -CSM

Don't apologize for using your own style. This is your comic, your art, your work. It's an expression of yourself. It should have a different style.

I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I plan to have it online before the weekend is over.-jay

[Edit]

By the way, CSM, how do you want to be credited for the comic? Just as Crazyswordsman? Or as something else?-jay

Does the weekend count MLK Day? because that's cheating, then, Jay.

^^Crazyswordsman is fine, thanks. You can abbreviate my name after you established who I am if you like.

I'm going to do most of the next part as well, and Chunky will take over for the 1.5 Structures. Since I have 4 day weekends and not much class this semester, I'll do Part 7 next weekend. -CSM

It's almost hard for me to believe that this ol' site still has some juice in it. I'm looking forward to your comic CSM.

^ No kidding. After 10 years, who knew.

Bah, I can cheat however I darn like. It's my site still.

But seriously, I should have it online today or tomorrow. Possibly tonight even if I'm not too lazy.

I also finished downloading Alph's next part of the Mushroom Wars SE.

Although I hope uploading two new comics to NC at the same time doesn't cause it to explode.

Maybe I'll add a new short as well... I'm quite overdue.-jay

Alph: I think if we all work together, we can bring NC back. Considering I won't have much homework this semester, and that after that I enter the workforce, I should have lots of time on my hands. -CSM

I see one. It's my fault. I need you to take out Frame 45 because it's a dupe of Frame 46. I take full responsibility for the screw up. -CSM

What happened to the Green Snifit (Boromir)? He disappeared, it looks like at the end.

^Don't worry, he'll be back in Part 7. He's gone away to execute a master plan to get the Wing and kill Fredo. I'll PM the plan to you, and only you, right now. -CSM

I noticed that the sprites were stretched unevenly. I'm guessing you stretched them like this, right?:[L150, W150]

Other than the sprites, good comic. It's nice to see that NC finally has new comics.

^I fixed the sprites halfway through. I use normal sizes from now on.

This was part of the reason I split it up into two parts: I wanted to see which style you liked better, so I know for next time. -CSM

But that's assuming I get done with 8 in a year.

It's a bit rambly, a bit long, and a bit hard to follow. Plus the size changes are jarring.

I can tell you've put a lot of effort into it; however I suggest you take the effort and try to compact it into a bit fewer images and THEN expand to massive size, so that it is easier to follow and nicer to look at it.

Just my two cents/points/monkey lasers.
