Well then, I need not say any more. I intentionally avoided any direct mudslinging, yet both of these people have reacted to it with mudslinging.

I'm really surprised you didn't get it...

If you were going for sarcasm here, I'd really be more careful next time. Sarcasm doesn't translate well over the internet, so you ended up sounding alot more antagonistic than you originally intended.

Ha ha, oh wow. You weren't even specific about those government spots you were offering. I was. I even promised to open it up to the public.

For all we know, you could be planning to give Mush Man the title of "Official Toilet Scrubber." I actually have set positions with further explanations on the way.

So you took my idea and added to it. Subtract these scant additions and you still have my idea.

And the timing indicates quite effectively you copied it, Laika. You didn't mention it before my post. Copycat. Copy copy copy copycat! Can't think up your own ideas? Well, that's fine. But I'm the original Presidential Candidate here.

As for Romplayer: If your post was meant in jest, perhaps next time you could make it more funny and less sadly dysfunctional.

Although I have to agree with Metal Man about the copying thing, there is one thing I want to bring back in your mind You did the some thing once:
In the chat event Laika announced to revive Ask Dr Donez. Shortly after that, you did the same here in the forums.
But that's what you seem to have to expect here. Happened to me in 2004, too. Whatever ^^

As to my last post: No, it wasn't a jest. You understood it correctly that it went against Metal Man.
But you carefully picked out only those things you wanted to respond.
May I explain?

Quote:
Scrooge McDuck has shown his ability to take the action thousands of times, in most cases successful. (This is relevant to the election? Really? What next, your hat can change colors, and that is why I suck? -Metal)
I didn't say you suck. But you claimed for yourself, that you are a good candidate for president, because you showed how much you can do. That you can create comix, that you have knowledge in PHP, that you already made things for smbhq.com.
That's what I picked up by saying that Scrooge can take the action too.

Didn't you notice that I picked all your advantages to find somebody who has all these too?

And your second part is something I totally don't get.

What the hell? Does Metal Man look like a guy from a game?!
Who are you refering to anyway? The sprite that represents me or the picture with Scrooge? For the case you meant me: What does this have to do with this? And for the latter one: Might be because it isn't suppose to be from a game.

Anyway, rather than talk to Romplayer, I'm just going to destroy his argument right now.

Whoops! Sorry man, game over.

Oh, and I found these, too!
Huge Deathmatch
Hideous first comic thing ever

Oh, and here's some more sprites. Eat your words! Extra crunchy!

I still don't get you, Metal Man. It was YOU who brought up the argument, a non-sprite President would be a good thing. If both Metal Man and Scrooge have sprites AND stick figures, it just strengthens my argument.

Strange thing. I just wanted to do one final post and now I have to keep on explaining it. I am not part of the election any more, this was just a post from Romplayer as a person, not as a CM. So you could talk to me in a normal way, not in an election-campaign-argument-way.
Or is it still the thing, that politics is a war, and inside this topic you have to stay in your role as a CM otherwise war would be lost?

I really don't want to fight here any more. Just talk.

I don't think Metal Man can call off the attacks. He appears to be extremely competitive and combative, and this isn't the first time he's repeatedly talked down to someone.

It was fun and a friendly rivalry early on in the primaries, but things soured quickly when he brought in his "friends." He's never been the same.

However, voters, let me remind you that the only thing I've changed is my party. Vote Subconian - Vote Donez.

P.S. I didn't copy Metal Man's idea. I improved it. Unlike MM, who throws around ideas and drops them without explanation, I stick with my ideas and try to be consistent.

'Improving' an idea by addition is still copying it; in fact, what you did was refer to copying it in a more subtle sense.

I will freely admit that some copying is warranted, but non-stop, shameless copying followed by denying you copied anything at all is simply weak.

And since when is it 'competitive and combative' to take down someone who attacked me first? Sans maybe calling him inactive, I had no words for Romplayer until he opened salvo after salvo of 'Metal Man is an evil attack person.' Then, when I attacked him on it, he revealed he had no real evidence for his claims (and repeated them endlessly rather than saving himself by dropping them), and then lost the General election. Hard.

Reality is this whole 'Metal Man is attacking people' is an attack in itself, directly aimed at me. If anyone is 'competitive and combative', it is not just me, but Donez.

And the voters picked both of us.

So guess what? The voters want people who will fight for them. Good for them. They have not one, but two winning choices if that's what they want.

So what's to critique, Donez? Yourself? Because I may have called some tough cards, but I never called you a terrorist.

WOAH THAR!

  • When did I ever call you a terrorist?
  • Who says I don't know PHP? (In actuality, I don't, but you made that ad before you knew that about me, so you therefore operate on assumptions.)
  • Thanks for using parts of my ads in your latest ad. Remember how you criticized me for doing that to your ads in the primaries? Oh... wait... this is the Metal Man campaign, after all. Vote for him if you want revisionist history, I guess.

1. So you don't remember what you put in your ads? A shame.
2. Your train of thought is illogical here. It goes like this.
*A. Person says you don't know PHP.
*B. You don't know how they know that, or if they know it for true or not.
*C. Assumption: Person assumed when they made that statement.
Unlike you, however, I have proof you operate on assumptions, because of the above train of thought. Though if you want to shoot yourself in the foot again, I can't really stop you from it, heh.
3. Well gee, unlike you I didn't copy them completely, then alter them to make you look stupid. I just used them how they were, then put my two cents outside of them.

Also you totally stuck your foot in your mouth when you hotlinked my ad there. I hope you notice the irony.
4. Psst... I write my ads, not you. You know, I might put something completely ludicrous in the next one, then point and laugh when you try, like some paranoid person, to make it go away. If you're really as good as you say you are, why do you need to attempt to explain away what I say? You wouldn't have much to reject if what I said didn't hit on real things. You'd just be going "That's a load of nonsense" and move on.

Of course, I welcome more rebuttals... unfortunately, you have no reality in them, so they just wind up being butt.

1. Well, find the ad where I called you a terrorist, then. Feel free to hotlink it.
2. Do you even know what "assume" means? You assumed that I did not know how to code PHP because I hadn't ever said whether or not I could.
3. I didn't alter anything. I used your "sprite" and some fake dialogue in my first primary ad, as a joke, but I didn't change any of your general election ads to make you look stupid.
4. Wouldn't that just be peachy keen? Unfortunately, that never happens in politics unless your last name is Obama. In an election with few voters, who are particularly fickle, with only two votes seperating us to get here, everything has to be explained to the voters.

1. Even if I did, you'd just nitpick it and then say that, because of some small detail elsewhere, it didn't count. You wouldn't accept it as true even if I hotlinked it and shoved it right here for everyone to see. You can't handle when things differ from your little dialogue.
2. You assumed yet again when you made this statement. Just because you don't know how I know doesn't mean I assumed it. You're going to lose if all you want to argue with me about is semantics.
3. So you say, "I didn't alter anything, but then I did." I'm not as braindead as those two people you have spamming "Vote Donez" over and over again; I know lies when I see it.
4. Then how did I get here, genius? I think I know a thing or two about elections, considering I beat you originally. I know your weaknesses. They generally revolve around the fact that ye hide from the truth and make endless confrontational messages. But that won't phaze me; I'll continue to take apart any more of your little attempts to justify your cheatin', two-chance campaign where many other people who played by the rules got burned.

Voters, take note: When in a tough place, Donez will just do nothing but try to explain away anything which doesn't go his way with some patronizing language, then order his zombies to spam "Vote Donez" so as to advance the page.

If I wanted to I could easily have 5 or 6 people flood the topic and render those moot, but because I play by the rules and respect what the voter thinks, I shall simply re-link all my stuff when the next page hits.

Thusly his strategy will backfire against him, as his pages of cute little attempts to ignore reality will be washed away by his own supporters vapidly going "Voooote Donezzzzz...."
