Is Yoshi a neglected character?

I don't get it. Tons of people like him. How is he a neglected character. And why is he on the,"Post New Topic" button?

Meh I always thought that Bowser and Peach should be excepted from that rule given how they tend to be just as important to the "plot" of the main Mario games as Mario himself.

But despite that fact, who gets all the spotlight? Hmm?

Are we getting Super Luigi Galaxy? Super Bowser Galaxy? Super Peach Galaxy? Super Yoshi Galaxy? Are they even on the cover?

All important characters...yet we get...

Duh. I think it's the best to say not everything is black or white. Some characters are more neglected than others.
Relating to the land of "Neglected Mario Characters", everybody other than Mario is neglected by definition.
But in other situations it should be clear that Yoshi or Bowser are NOT really neglected. Toad in fact IS neglected. He is so neglected, that he's not even unique, no, there are hundreds of him, just looking exactly like him.
Even more neglected are characters like Wart or Bill. Who knows them today? Nobody.

Wart is not a lousy excuse for Bowser. Wart was one of the many bi-products of Doki Doki Panic, and is a great character in his own right.

In SSBM he was also visible in a SMB2 level.

Oh, and don't forget Mario & Luigi - Partners in Time! He was an enemy there, too!

More neglected is Dr. Donez. He actually really did just appear in SMB2.
Although he was supposed to appear in Yoshi's Island, he was removed in the final version.
Just imagine Nintendo would have kept him in... he would be as popular as Shy Guys today!
