Any plans for NC's 12th birthday?

It will be the 12th anniversary of Neglected Mario Characters tomorrow, but there's been little talk of it. I'm really concerned about NC. At this point, it's just rotting in it's grave.

Meh, Star Trek/NC is better.

But it messes up the NC/SSS Crossover part 2 plot.

True. But since NC doesn't seem to have any form of consistent canon, I don't see how it would cause a story paradox.

12 isn't a special number at all. Everyone cool knows that multiples of 5 are where it's at.

also, that's a harsh way of putting it, DZ. I see it more as a child with busy parents...or something.

edit: then again, with it's parents busy, it'd be on zany adventures. Now I don't know what to think.

Counting numbers of years seems somewhat hollow when the last of the original active Jay updates was on 2/14/06, which is on 3 years ago and going to be 4 soon enough.

I like NC as much as the rest of you, but it was really Jay's thing. Even if we did have some sort of comic stuff for the 12th, it would merely be user-created content.

I think, therefore, it would be more appropriate to celebrate the comics Jay made while he was here, and the things it has inspired--perhaps a retrospective on when NC was active and before Jay was killed for good by grad school.

Of course, that is just my two cents.

Dang. I was gonna scrap together a comic to celebrate it's birthday, but I lost track of time. Anyway, congrats to NC for lasting 12 years! (btw, someone should update the front page) *dances like an idiot*
