Joining

Anybody can join, at any time. Even the annoying ones. They get a second chance - not a third, however. You will begin with only two units, 50 Coins, and 30 Food. If you are participating in Many Marios, you are still able to ???????????????

The Tribes

You can only use one tribe at a time and must stick with it unless you sell your whole tribe. Think of which of the following is the best for you. When you start off, you have limited amounts of Coins, Food, and only two workers to help you. You must maintain the best tribe as possible while competing against others, finding great treasure, and eventually, winning the ultimate fighting tournament.

Marios - As you get more of these, they will cooperate with each other to build things, find coins, or even fend off Bowser. Marios count towards your score. Marios have limited Energy, and building something reduces their energy by 3. If you don't have enough food to support your Marios, they automatically will have no energy or might possibly quit.

Goombas - Goombas are the cheapest workers you can buy. Their only problem is that they use all their energy when doing a job, so beware. They do pack a great punch in Mushroom Kingdom Fighting.

Toads - Toads only use 2 Energy for work, which means that they can actually do two different things in a single day. They're not the best at battling, though, so they're more dependent on Battle Items.

Koopas - Koopas have natural defense and are resistant to fire. They're hard to take down, but also hard to maintain, plus the fact that they're pretty expensive.

Maintaining units

Buy food with coins. Food is necessary to support your tribe if you want them to do anything. Each tribe automatically consumes 2 food in order to maintain their current energy, and you must manually feed them if you want them to recover. You feed your units at the end of the day, though, not during the middle of it. Feeding them extra must be the final thing you do. There are, however, alternate ways to make them recover.

You must also make sure that your Marios keep a watchful eye on your stuff. If all of them are asleep, nothing is stopping somebody else from invading your stash at any time. Be strategic and think of others when you assign your orders.

Building stuff
1 character can make a Gamble Coin. You will either recieve a visit from Luigi or get attacked by Bowser. (GB, KP)
2 characters can make a Mushroom; it sells for 7 coins. (MA, GB, TD, KP) Alternately, a Mario can eat this instead of selling it in order to increase their Energy, but the amount of Food they consume triples. They also gain a new attack during Mushroom Kingdom Fighting.
3 characters can make a Warp Pipe; it sells for 12 coins. (MA, GB, TD, KP) Alternately, up to 2 characters at a time can jump into these in order to ????????????
4 characters can make a Yoshi Egg; Yoshi will come tomorrow. (MA, TD)
5 characters can make a ? Block. It sells for 16 Coins, but you could make a character jump on the block as much as you want; each jump makes it worth one extra coin. However, there is a 15% chance you will break the block doing this. (MA, GB, TD, KP)
6 characters can make a Spring Flower. It sells for 36 Coins. (MA, GB, KP) Alternately, you can turn this into a Battle Item. Your characters will jump off the flower to do extra damage, until the flower is destroyed.
7 characters can make a Starman; it sells for 40 coins. (TD) Alternately, you can turn this into a Battle Item to make your Toads completely invincicle for a few battles.
8 characters can make a Koopa Hut. The number of coins you get is determined by how many Koopas visit. A Koopa Hut only lasts a day. (KP)

Essentials

Napping - You can make your characters sleep for two days. They will not eat food or be able to do anything. When they wake up, they'll have all your energy. No bed, no nap. Beware of putting everybody to sleep at the same time, because if anybody challenges you, they've instantly won.

Wait mode - If you are not going to be on the internet every day and don't want everybody eating all your food or challenging you when you don't want to, you can "pause" your game. Nothing can happen until you "unpause" it. Not even special events.

Gifts - On certain occasions, you may recieve some kind of item. These are worth numerous points, but might still get stolen, so beware.

Scoring - The scores of all players will be posted every day. Gifts, Coins, and surviving characters are all part of your score.

Bargaining - I have no say in what deals two people make, but if both of you agree, I'll meet your requests ("I'll give you 44 coins for that thingy you found!")

So, anybody that wants to try this, open one of the boxes and flood your life with Marios, or whatever you decide.

Box of 5 Marios - 35 Coins
1 Goomba - 6 Coins
Box of 5 Goombas - 25 Conis
1 Toad - 18 Coins
Box of 5 Toads - 75 Coins
1 Koopa - 24 Coins
Box of 5 Koopas - 100 Coins
5 Food - 4 Coins
Box of 100 Food - 70 Coins
Mushroom - 7 Coins
Bed - 55 Coins, allows your characters to sleep
White Pipe - ???????????????
Anti-Bowser Machine - 115 Coins
Mario House (you can only have up to 30 characters at a time, but this'll make it 60) - 200 Coins
Field (unlimited characters) - 1,200 Coins
Instant Pasta - 40 Coins, fully re-energizes one character
Rent chef - 55 Coins, 1 food is automatically consumed instead of 2
Battle Trinket - 80 Coins, forces an opponent into a fight
Boo Bell - 90 Coins, randomly steals something from another
Stopwatch - 9 Coins, freezes a Mario in time
Luigi Token - 200 Coins, triggers a Luigi event
Trumpet - 20 Coins, wakes somebody up
Safe - 150 Coins, stores up to 200 coins worth of Coins/Items which are then unable to be stolen unless somebody breaks the safe. Does not count towards score.
Catapult - 39 Coins, counters an attack.
Bright Potion - 2500 Coins, any unit that drinks this will be promoted to Level 2.

Battle Item List:

Knives (1 unit, attack damage +2) - 4 Coins each (MA, TD, KP)
Jacket (1 unit, temporary +5 defense) - 6 Coins each (MA, TD, GB)
Force Field (all units, temporary +6 defense) - 40 Coins (MA, TD, GB, KP)
Bob-omb (1 unit, self-destructs to KO 3 enemies) - 20 Coins each (MA, GB, TD, KP)
Chomp Call (a Chomp will roam around biting anything it sees) - 60 Coins (MA, GB, TD, KP)
Wrench (pierces defense) - 60 Coins (MA)
Power Belt (multi-hit kick attack) - 70 Coins (MA, TD, GB)

Luigi Events:

Luigi's Present - Luigi gives you an item.

Luigi's Hand - Luigi can do one job for you, but has infinite energy.

Luigi's Challenge - You will be PMed a challenge that you must accomplish. If you succeed, you get a reward that by far exceeds anything you might recieve in Luigi's Present.

Luigi's Recovery - Restores all energy and wakes everybody up.

Luigi's Token - You get a Luigi Token, which lets you call Luigi any time you want. Luigi Tokens will also become available in the store.

Yoshi Events:

Yoshi's Food - Gives you an Instant Pasta.

Yoshi's Tongue - Eats somebody in order to convert it into 50 Food.

Yoshi's Ade - Wakes up all that are asleep.

Yoshi's Ride - Carries 1 character around. This character can do work normally, but then can go back to Yoshi and Yoshi will donate its energy. Yoshi has 30 Energy.

Yoshi's Fun - Lets you use up to 3 of another player's characters to do work for you. When the work is done, they return to the owner.

Mushroom Kingdom Fighting

You have to challenge somebody to a fight. When they accept, the challenger must PM me their attack. When that's done, the person that was challenged has to post their defense. Then, I calculate the fighting results. All killed characters are not revived. The one that has survivors remaining at the end of the battle wins. The winner gets coins (lots of coins) and a gift (a good one) - or the option to steal coins.

By dueling enough, your characters may level up... but that's something I'd rather let you guys find out for yourselves. ^.~

Every 3 rounds, your current situation will be posted and you can decide if you want to surrender or not. Also, before the fight, tell me if you want the fight to be posted down to every detail. This also holds true for when you are ???????????????

In the PM, you have to tell:

1. How many characters you'll use.
2. Your setup.
- D-Strong: Strongest defend first.
- D-Weak: Weakest defend first.
- A-Strong: Strongest attack first.
- A-Weak: Weakest attack first.
- DA-Strong: Strongest do both.
- DA-Weak: Weakest do both.
- No setup: Randomizes the setup.
3. What Battle Items you will use.
4. If you want to use special attacks, and when you want to use them. Note that using these attacks drains Energy.
Marios - Fireball, 3x normal damage
Goombas - Power Bite, can stun an enemy
Toads - Cannon, bonus damage and temporary defense
Koopas - Shell Shock, uses multiple Koopas to form a spinning tower of pain
5. Run settings. If characters are at 0 energy, they're 1 attack away from dying. If on, they will run when they hit 0 energy instead.

Then the other person must POST (not PM) their counterattack (same as above).

Read these:

-You cannot build a Yoshi Egg the day Yoshi is visiting you.

-If you have a Koopa Hut, another 8 Koopas can improve on it to multiply the coins recieved.

-For every 100 characters you have, each consumes 1 extra food.

-If things look bleak (no food, few Coins), start over again.

-Whenever I say "Coin Shower", the next immediate poster gets 50 coins.

- No food is consumed if nothing is posted.

Day 10

Bowser is postponed another day due to the new rules. Most of you don't even have to worry, though; only the ones with "Bowser will attack" under their statistics will battle him.

If I can, I'll restart with a box of 5 Marios, then buy a bed.

Also buy 2 of the 5 foods, and make 2 Marios make a mushroom, and 3 build a warp-pipe and sell it.

Ah well.

Yes, you can use a different tribe! Just sell all your current units! They sell for half the price an individual one costs (rounded down).

By the way, everybody very carefully read the new food rule. Don't ask me why your units aren't getting their energy back.

I'll put 20 Marios to sleep. Then buy 20 Marios (-140 coins, + 20 Marios(DURR)). Have them build a 3 Spring Flowers(+108 coins). Have the remaining 2 build a Mush(+7 coins) Buy another 20 Marios. Have them guard.

Loss of 25 coins. Gain of 40 Marios.

IŽll buy back another of my old MarioŽs (Romeo), then if the other two can, IŽll make a Warp Pipe and sell it. If they canŽt, IŽll just buy back Romeo.

Then IŽll feed them.
