With all the popularity in video games, it's easy to forget about board games. But let's not forget that without board games we would probably not have what we call video games today!

There is not enough current discussion about board games to warrant a new forum. Irregardless of the significant cultural and historic impact of board games, no one talks about them and hence no one cares.

Why would you even suggest this forum? If you want to have a lively discussion about Candyland, you can start a thread about it.
