A Dreams forum - VGF

How about a forum where we can talk about our wildest dreams we have? Our nightmares and our weird dreams. That's something I actually think might work. -CSM

Cool. I can tell you about the dreams in which I fight green men who hurl exploding devil's food cakes.

Or the time I fought Liquid Snake and that yellow-vested guy from Mortal Combat in a busted up haunted castle in a gray area underground and they were ghosts and the Liquid Snake guy had spiked nun-chuk like star things.

My dreams are messed up.

Anyway, I don't see dreams generating much activity. Plus, we did try the thread, and it sort of died after a while.

But that thread was crap. It was just for 'weird and funny' dreams. A general dreams thread, though, would suck less.

I'm not saying your idea sucks - just that it's highly impractical.

The 4chan jokes forum would suck though. Besides, we already have a jokes forum.

I was throwing that 4chan thing out there for fun and because no one else did. It was an idea, albeit a bad one but it was an idea. It's hard to figure out what we actually should have forums for, and what one or two people want as forums. The only way a forum request will get through is if there's sufficient conversation and popularity about the topic. The non-video game topics we have are generic enough to where we have them for the sake of having them. 98 percent of the forum requests wouldn't pass in the fact that they are all completely random and that they aren't talked about enough. I would enjoy a dreams thread, but I'm not sure enough conversation would be warranted there in my opinion. It's very hard for me to explain this, but I hope I got the point across. The 4chan forum was just an idea, I wasn't really hoping for it to go across but at least it was an idea that I put out there because there was enough popularity about the topic.

A dream forum would get little activity from me, I haven't had any for awhile. I guess I could talk about that one with the waterfall/butterfly I've had about 5 times, or the zombie one.

I would view it a lot though I like weird dreams.
