Hey everybody. It's been 7 years since I left. In case you don't recognise me I used to be an annoying member named "Fusion". Fusion was a mary-sue infamous for excessive god-modding. Members everywhere loathed him. Eventually he disappeared one day.

...7 years later...

...that same guy is back under a new identity (300, anybody?) Fortunately I'm 19 now and have matured a crapload since then. I promise no more god modding.

Nice to meet ya. By the way I hope they properly killed off my character. I was eventually going to kill off "Fusion" anyway because he was unpopular and replace him with someone else. I likely won't go back to the OG story because I'll have so much to catch up on. I left before OG #5 ended. I wonder what became of Emperor Akujin (the main antagonist of that OG)?

Unfortunately, the great VGF server outage occurred around 7 years ago, so it might be lost.

I don't quite recall you, but then again, it was 10ish years ago for me.

It can't be... after all these years. I don't post here anymore, but I came as soon as one of my spies reported your return. Most of us have retreated to a forum that sounds like gamehacker but if you're hiking instead of hacking. This is so crazy... you weren't our favorite writer, truly, but I went crazy wondering how you disappeared into nothing. I'm also glad you seem to have matured, as did your old friend BSD. We also have an OG Wiki now, where you can see more of your characters' fates, which are a bit complicated.

Welcome back, Fusion (or should I say Leonardo?). I don't know if we know each other, but I spent a lot of time with VGF Member OGs 6 through 10, when it ended.

I'm kind of surprised you still have some element of interest in VGF Member OG--it's been over since 2006, and since then a lot of the writers have come to hate or just dislike the series. For better or worse, I myself have an undying love (some would say an unhealthy obsession) for it; it's roughly hewn, but there's lots of conflicting ideas going on, and I think it shows off the potential of the OG format.

Anyway, all that is ancient history, I guess. Contact GORE or me if you want info on the OGs. Welcome back to VGF, I hope you enjoy it. It's quite a thing.

Correct, in fact until I suggested it be imported nothing from the old UBB was available here.

Somewhere around 2003 or 2004 everything went to heck and a bunch of the ancient (pre-2003ish) posts vanished forever, due to a total server crash and there being no backups.
