I was a newbie four years ago, turns out I'm still a newbie

Hey everyone. I created this account back in 06 with the intent on posting more often, however, life got in the way I suppose and over time I just completely forgot all about this place.

But now I have returned. I'm glad to see that some parts of the community are still active, but I still regret not sticking around. I feel as though I might be showing up too late in the game so to speak to have any impact, but that's okay. I'm hoping to just enjoy the ride for now.
