A: In a picture editting program such as Adobe Photoshop or PaintShop Pro, you can select and delete or otherwise erase the white background. Transparent backgrounds are easy once you know what to do, but if you need more help, there's plenty of VGFers who can give oyu advice.

A short guide thing that could be added.

Shows user's public profile in seperate window.

Opens new window so you can visit users website, if they have one.

Allows you to E-mail the user.

Allows you to send a PM (Private message) to the user. They can view the PM's via forums.

Allows you to edit your own post.
All new members, PLEASE use this than rather post five multiple times. Nobody wants to see that. Include it all in one post.
You can also correct grammer and spelling mistakes you've made in previous posts.

Press this to 'quote' a member.

Allow me to explain what each UBB Code button does;

URL: Pressing this will open a window for putting in a URL. The first box is for the URL it's self. The second box is for entering a custom name for the link.
Ex: <blockquote>code:<hr /><pre style="font-size:x-small; font-family: monospace;">VGF.</pre>[/quote]That makes: VGF.

Bold: Press this and you can make some text bold, like this.

Quote: Like the quote function from above, but this, you must add the text yourself.

List-Start AND List end: Starts a list.

This is an exmaple of it.

Email: Opens a box to enter in an E-mail address.

Italics: Press this and it will make certain text italic, like this.

Code: I would suggest just not using this at all if your new. So let's skip this one.

List-Item: Goes along with List start and List end. Use it for making "bullets" for each section of the list.

Image: Opens up a box to enter in an image's URL, which then will be displayed in your message.

Q: What is the thirteenth floor?

A: It's a fictional place created after I made the forum tour. Before that, it was always known as "Banland". When someone was banned, it was said that people went to this Banland and a heap of people have enjoyed elaborating on the story. Seeing as most buildings and hotels don't have a 13th floor (if they go higher than that) due to superstitious reasons, when I was writing the forum tour, I made the 13th floor host the mysterious Banland. Since then, most people have picked up calling Banland the 13th floor.

A: That is the Nameless forum. It was created after two members donated a large amount of money to Shane and asked for their own forum. To get access, you need to ask the mods of that forum and they will decide if you will be permitted.

A: Every once in a while, access to editing your current PDN will be enabled in your Profile page. Be sure to check the Announcements forum for notices on exactly when those times are. At the moment, the feature isn't enabled.

Q: What is "bump" and what does it mean?

A: "Bump" is a term members use when they bring a topic back to the top of the page. When you reply to a topic, it automatically goes to the top of the topic page (with the exception of feature topics, which always stay at the top). Usually topics that haven't gotten many replies get bumped so they come to the attention of other members again. Please don't bump up really old topics, it can annoy members.

You get 'money' (also known as e-points) from posting, creating threads and viewing threads. Each is a different value.

We don't have a rating for members at VGF... I don't think so, at least. *shakes both brain cells and draws a blank* I'll check profiles again...

You can rate threads, though. At the top right.
