"Okamiden" Revealed

I don't know how many of you say that Capcom trademarked "Okamiden" last week. (it was posted on IGN and Gamespot for a few days) Capcom didn't comment on it at the time, but they did show it to Famitsu.

you should seriously go do that now, its amazing, way better then any zelda since MM (reminder that i think MM is the bestzelda).

I definitely got the impression that any sequel would take place around the Celestial Plain, what with Waka saying that Ammy's adventures had "just begun" and all. I'm kind of disappointed to see that it doesn't, since that also means we probably won't be seeing much (if any) of Waka or Ammy this time around. On the other hand, we'll probably see a lot more of Issun if he actually kept that lost promise. It also likely means we'll find out what happened with a lot of the other characters as well. (Oki, Susano, etc) Oh, and maybe Tobi will undie. Yeah.

I'm not sure how they're going to pull off using roughly the same world on a less powerful system without making the game basically the same as the first with a few new rooms, but I'll wait until TGS to start worrying about that.

Also, am I the only one that think the screens they showed look like a younger Susano riding a younger Ammy? Wouldn't make any sense plot-wise, but that's what I see.

I think MM is one of the worst, so I'm not really hooked by that.

Heard it was good though.

I'd ask if anybody suggested it, if I didn't think I'd be mauled by a herd of yeses...

^^I think the hook is that TG thought it was better than WW, FSA, MC, TP and PH. Or whatever has come out since MM.

Okami currently ranks #1 on my list of best games ever, so yeah, I'd recommend playing it.
