Aside from the browser, the DSi doesn't appear to have anything useful to me. So, I have just a couple of questions: 1. What's the difference between the DS Browser and the DSiWare Browser? 2. Is the DS Lite any different than the clunker version (aside from size and button arrangement, of course)? 3. Any games to recommend? I lost most of mine. I'm thinking about getting MKDS, and maybe getting another copy of NSMB. |

It's more like an improved and enhanced version of Mario Kart 64, rather than a victim of the same excesses that befall Mario Kart: Double Dash!! and Mario Kart Wii. I highly recommend it. Also, if you're predisposed towards the WarioWare series, then WarioWare: Touched is excellent. If you've never played a WarioWare game, then it's fairly safe to just take the plunge and buy it anyway. You'll almost certainly like it. ![]() |

I think they're both basically the same. DSi comes with more on-board memory, so there's no need for the expansion slot. They're both powered by Opera, but the DSi browser can get updates through the DSi shop. (I think they added some Facebook integration recently.) The DSi can also support more encryption standards than just WEP, in case you have a more discriminating wi-fi network. 2. Not really. I think there's some difference between the DS and DSlite in terms of screen brightness. There's some complaints about the hinge cracking on DSlites (it happened to mine =/). Maybe wikipedia knows more. 3. Depends on which genres/formats you like. I liked The World Ends With You (RPG/action), any of the Layton games (puzzle minigames), Elite Beat Agents (rhythm), Rhythm Heaven, Space Invaders Extreme. |

DS Phat is probably more durable than the Lite, although it sacrifices a bit of backlight power--but it's still good for me. I've been using mine for 4 years. |

Also, I've never really used a DS phat, but it does seem sturdier. Other than the backlight thing and the sexiness of the design, the stylus is suposed to be easier to access, but there's not really that much of a use there. |

The screen is now much more usable in daylight-type areas, with extra brightness. Easier to slip in my pocket, and ways a lot less, making it more comfortable to use. |

MKDS is fantastic, though. Or it was while I was still interested in it. They should've released a followup with new tracks by now, I liked it so much. |

And there are quite a few good RPGs on the DS, though a lot of them are remakes. |
