It's like all the older game devs are starting to realize that they didn't need to disown their most popular franchises just because they goofed and made a title that didn't sell a kajillion (yes, very scientific number) copies. Bonk: Brink Of Extinction Preview: Bringing Back Baldness | Kotaku Australia It looks like the future is bright for platformer fans. |

I didn't grow up with Bonk, but I have played it on my girlfriend's old TurboGrafx. It was a pretty good time, so I'm looking forward to this for sure. |

Since there's no reason to stop making new games; one just only need to release for portable/the 'arcade' platform many consoles allow. |

I thought perhaps it was just a case of having bad taste for a while there, because I'd more recently played other games that came later, like Super Bonk, which were just plain bad. I downloaded the original on my Wii though, and was blown away by what a fun, well made game it was. If you've got the money and are interested in a great 16-bit era platformer, I'd definately suggest downloading it. It's only fault was that it's a little on the shortside, but it's also the sort of game that can be replayed many times and still remain fun. |

And why the hell has Pac-Man been dragged, bloodied and humiliated, through so many different, ill-fitting incarnations? |

Surprisingly, Pac-Man World 2 made a profit, and got Player's Choice on the Gamecube. Oh, and I've never played Bonk. | |

Anyone else here ever "played" that Pac-Man Adventures piece of crud on Genesis? And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |
