Whenever Sonic & Knuckles appears on a console, the first question on everyone's lips is "does it feature Lock-On?", so we'll happily move to confirm that here. Accessed through a menu at any time in-game, you can select from any of the three original Sonic titles you've already purchased and activate the Lock-On feature.
That means it's compatible with Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3.

Doesn't look like Final Fantasy 2, 3, or 5'll appear on the VC. DAMNIT.

Yes, FFIII for the DS made it too easy with less enemies, amongst other things.

Regardless, it still managed to be a pain in the ass at times, though. I think I read that they buffed some aspects of the game to make up for the limited enemies per battle.

I've got the Dracula X Chronicles already, but Rondo of Blood is certainly worth a look.

^Its only weakness is that it's actually not translated at all. Just to note. Other than that, no reason not to get it.

Doesn't need a translation. There's just some lame dialogue whenever Richter saves a girl and then insert the classic "WHAT IS A MAN?!!" at the end.

(Once again, Dracula X Chronicles has a very accurate translation of that scene that's actually pretty badass. "Freedom is always sacrificed to faith, good hunter. Or are you truly here by choice?" "All I'm here for is you. To hell with your heresy! You're nothing but a blight on mankind.")

Nintendo must give me everything I want because I own them.

Then you're uninformed and petty.

^Any less than two VC games a month is bad. And don't tell me it isn't. There's still a lot of games already in Japan that could easily come here. Not to mention that some WiiWare games are just horrible, My Aquarium 2 being a prime example. Nothing new is added. I mean, for crying out loud, when it makes the Madden games look good, there's something wrong here.

It isn't bad.

Oh please. It's not like they Nintendo needs to keep the Virtual Console up at all, no less put more games on it.

Also, you have to be delusional if you're saying that something needs to have continual upkeep at all times or it's crap.

It's not like they promised to put certain games in, or even keep it updated for more than a few years.

These things are all fine. STFU.
