The Top 25 DS and Wii Games

IGN: The Top 25 Nintendo DS Games (I know, it's old. But I was going to post the Wii and this was on the home page for some reason)

I agree with a lot of the content of the list (except for Nintendogs... WTF), but I can't say the same for positions. NSMB, MKDS, and PH certainly all deserve to be on the list, but 1, 2, and 4 are absurdly high. There is also a disturbing lack of a Big Bang Mini and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor.

(oh, and TWEWY should be #1 with what they did remember. #3 if they hadn't forgotten those two)

Thoughts?

IGN: The Top 25 Wii Games

Not much to say on this one. I've only actually played WSR, and I guess 21 is fair enough for that. Swordplay was fun.

Other thoughts?

IGN can go suck it. A lot of what they listed on the DS were puzzle games. And Guitar Hero On Tour? Really?

Lists are hard to make, really. It is a lot easier and more universally accepted if the lists are broken down into such small catagories that it leaves fewer options.

IGN sure likes puzzles. Guitar Hero On Tour, American sk8land and probably half the puzzle games shouldn't be on the list.

Okay, this is bugging me: how good of a game is that Tony Hawk game? It just seems they went on about Wi-Fi over how the game was.

I own 7 of those DS games, and 4 of the current listed Wii games.

Sonic Rush over the superior Sonic Rush Adventure? Really? Lame. Phantom Hourglass was legitamely my least favorite Zelda game so far. I hated the Temple of the Ocean King, Jolene, and the god-damn overused style controls.

And all those damn rabbids can die in a fire, they've been ruining the franchise as badly as the newer sega games(console-wise) have been ruining Sonic.

It works pretty decently. It's a fun game but you get pretty sick of it after a while. Definitely not top 25 material.

Yeah, that was one of the worst ones I've seen. I don't think there's really any justification for ignoring the series that is both the top-selling franchise and a good part of the reason why there were any consoles after Atari.

Yet you loved Star Fox: Command, and said that I probably didn't like Phantom Hourglass either because of the controls. Oh well. And I remember when playing Sonic Rush Adventure, you do like one Zone and then have to buy another or something.
