Scribblenauts On Wii Would Be 'Interesting,' 5th Cell Says

Quote:
Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter might not be the only 5th Cell-developed title to make the jump to the Nintendo Wii. The studio is apparently at least willing to consider bringing over Scribblenauts as well, which was released on the Nintendo DS last month.

"It certainly would be interesting to do the game for Wii," technical director Marius Fahlbusch told Official Nintendo Magazine UK.

"We're always looking to do something new something that hasn't been done before. We're going to continue on that path."

Not exactly a concrete 'yes,' but not really a denial either. Sounds like something that 5th Cell will be marking down on their development wish list.

In the meantime, the studio is currently working on an Xbox Live Arcade game. No details yet, but apparently it's going to be "pretty big." Look for more information next year.

Cool. Could hold even more items, better controls, but I hope this X-Box Live Arcade Project won't rival Scribblenauts in awesomeness.

5th Cell makes understatement of the century

I'm pretty good with these alternative headlines.

Don't hold your breath. 5th Cell weren't the dev studio for Drawn Togetherto Life on the Wii.

I didn't really like the original, so if they did pursue this I wouldn't be getting too excited.

HERETIC.

Like I said, the original was kind of a more haphazard Incredible Machine. I'd rather have a sequel to that, if anything. They could've certainly made more item-specific scenarios, without making them so effing direct. I could certainly see more interesting stuff than "get this guy here", "kill these guys", and "kill these guys but don't kill those guys" being done, especially on the Wii.
