Adventures apparently premiered the same month, but I remember that the other aired before Adventures, on the station I watched. Must've caught the second through syndication, I think on whatever channel was airing Tazmaniacs at the time. | ||

StH was more serious and the storyline was more constant, while Adventures was your typical goofy Saturday-morning cartoon (with MOTHER****ING LONG JOHN BALDRY as Robotnik). I rarely got to see either, so when I did it was a treat for me. At least they were both better than that Sonic Underground cartoon. |

I had a lot of fun, but the only challenging things were some tricky level sections, like Pump Man's. The difficulty seemed to come and go in waves. Though I always seem to pick hard Robot Masters to start with--apparently starting with Solar Man was a bold move? I'm loving Hard Mode, though. Pump Man's stage was such a bitch. Again. And I don't really like playing as Protoman. |

Can anyone give me a list of effective weapons to use on the revisiting-boss things in the first level, and any that might be after that? I hate doing trial and error on **** like that, and they're too unpredictable in their movements not to focus on their pattern instead. |

Triple Blade works wonders on WoodMan, and Water Shield is good on FlameMan. It's been a while since I played, so my memory regarding the rest is very hazy. |

As if Slash Man wasn't already a bitch. |

Thanks, dude. |

And I know that Atomic Fire isn't technically Wood Man's weakness, because it takes 10/20 attack points to kill, whereas the Metal Blade uses.... well, much less. It just feels like Wood Man's weak to the former because you can use said energy in 1/2 hits. Going to into a Weapons Archive room, I recommend setting up these weapons beforehand. Room 1 - Wheel Cutter: Because both Elec Man and Gemini Man are weak to it, there's a 2 out of 3 chance that this weapon will be the best choice. Room 2 - Solar Blaze: No real reason, it just seems like Ring Man seems to go first a lot. Room 3 - Chill Spike: Not only are Commando Bomb and Thunder Wool easily accessable with this weapon, but Slash Man seems to go first a lot as well. Also, the Block Devil is weak to Rebound Striker, but you can use Triple Blade to hit him when he's under the floor. And the Wily Machine's first form is weak to Solar Blaze, whereas it's second form is weak to Water Shield. The final boss is weak to Chill Spike. I'm not sure what Crab Puncher is weak to, but his pattern flaws definitely show when playing as Bass. I hope I've been a help. |
