Greatest videogame achivements!

I've done it! I've finally done it! I've slain my great White whale!

Ever since F-Zero GX came out, I've worked at unlocking all the cool little features and extras in this brutally hard game.

I unlocked most of the stuff within the first year of owning it, but there was one challenge that I could never master. Chapter 7 of story mode, set on Very Hard difficulty. No matter what, try as I might, it was always beyond my grasp. I'd leave the game behind for a few months. Sometimes even a year, but I'd always come back to it because I truely enjoyed it and wanted to complete it. The story was still always the same though...

Last friday I picked it up again. And something must have been different this time, because I won. I finally won.

Having completed the hardest challenge in the game (and probably one of the hardest challanges of any game I've ever completed) I've finally unlocked the last character.

I didn't even care about the sucky character mind you, it was the principle of the thing.
Victory has never tasted so sweet. All I could do when I finally won was laugh.

Enough about me though...
What are your greatest videogame achievements?
Whether they took time, skill, strategy, or a combination of all three, I want to hear about them.
In this hobby that we all share, what have been your greatest victories?

Triple Fiery Jump Punch Kill. A thing of beauty is a joy forever.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Yeah, the best achievements are the ones that are skill-related. The grindy "kill a thousand gorillas" achievement isn't as great as "kill King Kong" achievement.

A fond achievement I did was getting the Invincibility cheat in Goldeneye. I must've played that level a few hundred times. Dr. Doak can go jump in a lake.

Starfox 64 was cool too. I remember getting twenty-three hundred something hits...? Anyways, it was a lot.

Non-Nintendo-wise, 1-cc'ing the Touhou games, and beating some of the Extra stages. It sort of justifies the massive amount of hours I sunk into those games.

The other day I beat Mega Man 5 for the first time. However, I had no E-Tanks, and I forgot to collect the letters throughout the levels, so I couldn't use Beat. It was just Rock vs Wily using only the Mega Buster.
To make things worse, I was playing it on the GCN Anniversary Collection, which infamously has the jump and fire buttons switched.

I was proud of myself.

After many tries (as in dozens) I finally managed to defeat a team of 3 L9 AIs in Melee a few years ago. I just used my awesome Ninja skills to beat all of them at the "Don't get hit by the bottom of the Icicle Mountain" screen game. The sad part was that I was Bowser and they were all light/fast characters.

I haven't actually finished this run yet, but the maximum difficulty setting on Metal Arms: Glitch in the System (GC) is so brutal on some levels that I've gotten more sense of accomplishment from a single one of them than from completing entire other games.

I guess the final big one would be the total minimalist run of MC I did about a year ago. 0 deaths, 0 unnecessary items, 0 non-required Kinstone fusions, 0 store purchases, 0 unneeded Deku Nut purchases, 3 hearts. Vaati took forever to kill, but it was enough fun that I'm probably going to do it again soon.
