I always wanted to play this game, and I heard good things about it. But I found it to suck as if it were payed, and payed well. What's everybody's thoughts on the game? And is the sequel any better? |

And yeah, the first Metal Gear sucks ass. Anyone who plays it and says it's great probably only likes it because they're trying really hard to. |

I mean, this is my opinion - I didn't play MG as a kid and discovered it after playing MGS on the PS1 and I just couldn't get through it... way to hard and frustrating... |

It was a great concept as proven by later installments, which I think is the reason it ever did well. People were drawn to it. Obviously the system limitations wouldn't allow for what Kojima wanted though. |

I rented it and played a bit of the first one, and it wasn't bad. I had to quit playing because NSMBWii came out. |
