No, there's black bars on the left and right side. DS top screen looks the same size wise, least to my untrained eyes anyway.

Something I forgot to mention was the new QR images you can create for your created Miis. By scanning the image, you instantly create that person's Mii. I used this to snag a Miyamoto, a Layton, and a Luke Mii. All the fun of custom Miis, none of the work

Edit: Something else I forgot to mention, the face recognition to turn your face into a Mii face? Works disturbingly well.

Steel Diver is already delayed until May in Australia. Way to go, Ninty, you show us with your crappy launch titles and delays. Best launch 4eva.

White Knuckle is... Um, lame. It's a stupid music video with dogs. Like, it's painful to watch. They also reeeaaaaally abused having dogs jumping over the camera IN 3D. So, yeah, glad that the video is getting deleted next update.

And AI, to finally confirm on the DS state: Regular boot up has the game boot up to full screen, not fill the wide screen on the top. However, holding Start/Select causes the game to boot to regular aspect... and it's VERY tiny. Like, it takes up maybe half the space now. Rather unenjoyable, I'd much rather have it full screen.

The sleep mode on mine is good. So from 8am to10 pm without charging and minor play with dim all the way down power save on and the 3d off.

Rather weak incentive to update early and often, since the entire of April had nothing for the system.

Isn't that what we were saying about the DS back in 2004 and 2005? I recall Tubs and CodieKitty saying "I'm not sold on the DS because there are no games on it."

That's also what we were saying about the PS3 too. :P
