That, and a slightly beefier processor. They could perhaps also launch it with a non-motion controller as a main option (using Gamecube ports). Then they could start making inroads on the whole 'mainstream' area while maintaining dominance in 'casual.' |

Also it's hardly anything exciting, just a bigger screen and a (supposedly) longer battery life. |

I mean, they're cool for a few things here and there and they make my FPS games seriously amazing, but they're not for everything. Relegating extra commands to crap like swinging the nunchuck is functional, but not easy to remember. The Wii is literally the first system where I have a hard time remembering the primary controls for some games. I really hope they resolve this with future releases somehow. If I were making a Wii game, and I wanted to make it actually user friendly without being really effing obnoxious and jamming an hour of tutorials into the beginning of every game, I would have a quick-reference screen to review controls on-screen live during a game. And another thing the Wii can't do well, is custom control settings. I'm certain I could come up with better control schemes than many devs have bothered to, honestly. |

Admittedly, Brawl has no motion controls. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

Though stuff like WarioLand: Shake It! and NSMBWii are good with the sideways control scheme with a little bit of function. If this is actually new hardware and not just another DS upgrade I'll start saving my money. Maybe Wii Hard Drive Add-On now possible? I ****ing hate saving extra stuff to SD cards. |

I don't think controls should be forced into being Motion Controls or Stylus Controls. Or anything other than what works best. Otherwise, it is just a dead gimmick, which is not something I want to happen, since they both have their uses. I adapted pretty well to Stylus Controls but there's something of about Motion Controls. I think it might be the controllers themselves, and/or the lack of accurate responses. Mostly the lack of accuracy though. The damn things need more than a Motion Plus or whatever, I'm sure. I need pin-point accuracy. |

It has helped my fps and regular games as well. The reason you don't have pinpoint accuracy is that your hand is twitching and the sensor senses that. It's all about finding that perfect balance with you and your wii mote. |

I'm guessing the Plus can't help much, but I may be surprised. |

I've got no problem playing games like House of the Dead, Umbrella Chronicles, or Red Steel with the Wii remote. It's likely you're having problems because you haven't recalibrated it for your distance or angle from the screen. For games with precision controls, that's very important. |
