What strikes me as weird is the fact that someone would actually take the time to make a game based off of talking candy in go-karts in the first place.

Ever since Nintendo came out with Super Mario Kart, other game developers (mostly crappy ones) have thought that they could rake in mucho bucks with half-assed go-kart games starring cartoonish characters.

I don't think it's ever worked, but they keep trying.

'Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing' is better than 'Mario Kart Wii' and at least as good as 'Double Dash'.

That M&M thing looks like a load of crap, if only because it lacks the illusion of speed. What's a racing game without the visceral thrill of going fast?

MKWii is...all right. I wouldn't say it's a bad game. It just feels really uninspired and dumbed down after DD and MK64. Oh, and the online multiplayer wasn't implemented very well, but that's every Wii game.

I personally despised Double Dash, and would put MKWii over it. But that's just me.
