Angry Game stuck in DS slot

So I order a used copy of Super Princess Peach from some seller on Amazon, and I got it today, and I popped it into my DS (original model), but now it's stuck in there. It won't pop out when I press down on it. It plays all right, but it doesn't eject. It's definitely a problem with the game card, not the system. Anyone know of any way I can get it out of there?

Maybe it formed a life bond. You can't eject it until you beat it.

Why would you want to take it out? Super Princess Peach is awesome; all other DS games are nothing compared to it.

Arrow BTW: I am also a witch.

lollerskates, out of all the DS games, you have Super PMS Peach stuck in there? The comedic possibilities are endless; it's like a fount of hilarity. I played the game, and it's a fun little romp, but I'd hate to have it stuck in there for all eternity.

Anyways, needle-nose pliers. Everyone should have a toolbox full of tools just for instances like this.

My sympathies dude, that blows.

Is it just me, btw, or has Nintendo been doing Peach's lips like a blowup doll, lately?

^ The lovely anna anthropy commented on Peach's descent into madness here (not really SFW):
auntie pixelante › princess toad stool

when did princess toadstool - or “peach” as she’s now called - become blonde? she experimented with colors quite a bit back in the day: the original super mario bros. and the japanese super mario bros. 2 have her as a redhead, the american super mario bros. 2 and super mario bros. 3 have her as a brunette. at what point did the princess’s nebulous appearance solidify into this perpetually O-mouthed blondie?

Okay, but would I be able to pull it out that way without damaging the system? Would the eject function get wrecked, since I would have to forcibly pry it out?

But then he has to come up with a story to explain what it was doing in there in the first place. Some one-in-a-million accident about you falling on the card, DS in hand, that the repair guy will pretend to believe as a courtesy, even though he knows you know he knows you were just playing with it.

Here's a solution I found from another site:
Quote:
I cut a thin piece of card stock to fit down by the left side of the cartridge (looking toward the cartridge from behind the DS) and it released it. There is a small clip in the slot that holds the cart in a litle indentation on the cart. For some reason the clip gets jammed on this cart and won't release although I tried another cart and it seems OK. I can get it in and out now using my paper "tool" but still not sure why there is a problem.
You could also try blowing in it.

Also, for ^^^^:

Peach has looked more or less exactly the same in official artwork since the Japanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2 (aka The Lost Levels) in 1986. She just looked different in game due to graphical limitations. So, the vapid blonde bimbo look has always been there.

I wish this would happen with Mario Kart DS and my DS. Then my sister couldn't keep stealing it to play Nintendogs.

^I recommend you buy yourself a used copy of Mario Kart DS from some douchebag on Amazon, then stick it in your DS the moment you get it. That ought to do the trick.

I would, unfortunately there's no way to transfer my 3-star rankings in everything over to it.

Then again, some industrial sabotage on my own cartridge could do it too.

Okay, crisis is over. A friend of mine came over today and was able to prize it out with a butter knife. I'm going to see if I can get my money refunded for the piece of ****.

It was probably all sticky from the previous owner (who likely spilled some honey on his DS games and tried to fence them on the interweb).

Dec 13, 2008 - My son's new ds game still plays but will not eject from the slot - you cannot push the game down at all - it is hard as a rock. Good news is it still plays, bad news: he can't play anything else.
Quote:
Dec 20, 2008 - Actually I discovered that a small amount of yogurt was stuck in the slot and when it was cold outside it broke and I was able to push the game in again.
