Kirby Wii Still in Development, But Release Still TBA

The title has been a long-time coming, considering it reportedly started as a GameCube game before development was moved to the Wii for what was originally supposed to be a 2008 release in Japan.

Other than that, very little about this ethereal Kirby game is known. Early details were that it would feature Kirby's standard enemy-inhaling ability and a multiplayer component, but after so much development time has passed, there's no telling how the game is currently shaping up. For now, let us be content in knowing it even still exists.

It's amazing how Kirby still has not had a true 3D adventure game like Mario and Zelda had back in the N64 era.

I like the fabric-style graphics. They actually look like they belong in a Kirby game.

Looks tight to me. I think a fully 3D Kirby title would be a mistake, really. Maybe once controls catch up to the graphics.

If I don't drive my parents broke with getting the 3DS, Skyward Sword, Paper Mario 3DS, or any of the many other things I want, I'll try to get this.

Too bad we're already broke..
