After 2, it just got crappier and crappier. At first there were just the bonus rooms, that was fine making me carry a barrel everywhere and caressing it against every wall in every level. But then secret coins? Then a bigger, meta secret coin? And then banana birds? What the hell, Rare. You used to be cool. |

If you want to put in a secret world, just put in some really tough to find hidden entrances, that should be enough for chrissake. |

A big problem with games nowadays is that they spread their game too thin. It ends up being a crappy everything instead of a good something. |

In single player only Donkey is playable, while Diddy just follows and provides assistance with his special abilities, kinda like Tails in the early Sonic games. In two player mode, the second player controls Diddy directly. Personally, I liked the tag-team method of the older games better because it was more unique, but I'm willing to give this a chance. Also, no Kremlings. Makes me a little sad, but you can't blame Retro for wanting to try their own thing. |
