It looked like an action game. Although, so was the original...

My favorite scenes were the flying ones. One featured Pit flying through... a Canyon, I think it was? While dodging rock spires. It looked hella fun.

Another showed him dodging laser after laser... in mid-air. It looked like something you'd see in a movie.

I just noticed that the graphics looked like GameCube.

All we can do is reveal things as they're shown on the live stream. If any source is able to put decent news up that quickly, then show them to me.

Looks awesome. I think I would've preferred a visual style closer to the original game, but the Smash Bros. style is good, too.
Although, Medusa's not supposed to be hot.

E3 2010: Kid Icarus Uprising Announced for 3DS

Quote:
The announcement of the 3DS at Nintendo's press conference wasn't particularly surprising, but the company pulled out one first-party surprise that's sure to please long-time fans. Kid Icarus Uprising is a 3D action title developed for the 3DS. The trailer showed off both air and ground combat, featuring Pit battling monsters and even cerberus in his quest to stop Medusa. We'll update this story with the trailer as soon as possible, so stick around.
Check the link for video.

So, first he gets a spot in Brawl, and now he gets a new game? Things are looking up for Pit.

And yes, the game does indeed look awesome. Though I'm not sure if I'll get a 3DS or not, seeing as I have a perfectly good regular DS.

If someone sees a big light from the general direction of scandinavia Katla suddenly decided to have a eruption aiming to expand the landmass of iceland with some additional square miles, or it was me imploding by the awesomenes that this game delivers in the trailer.

And even then, they almost dummied Marth and Roy out.

I actually recall that Nintendo has had the license for Kid Icarus since the original game and actually said they hadn't forgotten about it, but they probably had no idea waht to do with it. Or realized that, like stuff like Glory of Heracles, unless it managed to get some hype in the form of a Brawl release, that it'd probably be glossed over and pretty much ignored in favour of "omgz Zelda/Mario/Kirby/Golden Sun/Pokemon!!!111" and "BAAAAAAAAAWWWWW!!!! 'CASUAL' GAMES!!!!!"

^Well, yeah, they still have the license. It's a first-party game; they're the only ones who will ever have the license unless they sell it off.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

This game has voice acting?!

Also, this looks like a good game so far. Then again, it only shows us a few things.

Also Also, "Bark like a dog!"
