Could Nintendo really abandon what appears to be easy money? How hard can it be to release at least one title from their giant list of systems available? What do you guys think about this? Personally, I think Nintendo is complacent, and oddly unbusiness like quite often, especially with news like this. I'm waiting for games I really want and I don't think they'll deliver... Every first-party release for every Nintendo system should be available by now since acquiring the rights to those is virtually non-existant, right? And porting a game shouldn't be this difficult. They have plenty of games yet to be released and the Wii only has to about 2013 before Wii 2 according to analysts. Get on the ball, srsly. But geez, looks like Nintendo's fans are as complacent as Nintendo themselves. ![]() |

It's a selling point of the Wii and they're abandoning it. And if we take his fingers, how will he continue to pick his nose rather than make sure we get our games? We can't do that. |

Nintendo likely doesn't port a lot of games simply for merit of putting dev teams on new titles, anyway. Believe or not, the company doesn't have unlimited staff. I'm not a fan of the VC, anyway. I own almost all of the older Nintendo titles I'm interested in, including ones that will never-in-your-dreams receive a port. |

How hard could it be to do something extra for the fans, like finish up Star Fox 2 and release that? Kind of off topic but semi-related, I'm also highly disappointed in the complete and utter lack of GB/GBC/GBA ports on DSiWare as well. Last edited by I REALLY HATE POKEMON!; 08-11-2010 at 06:48 PM. The sound is off, something SEGA themselves also fudge up in their own. In some cases, waiting for them to make it user-friendly is just silly. What they don't care to release you can emulate the old fashioned way anyway. ![]() |

That is, how many Ninty-published games aren't on VC yet, & how many 3rd-party? Don't count Mother & Earthbound; we already know what the deal is there. And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!" |

I don't feel like counting all the third party games. There seems to be a lot more games currently on the VC in Japan right now, though. And most of the games not on the VC now are crap anyway. Except for Yoshi's Island. I want my Yoshi's Island, damn it. |

The Castilvainia and Metriod games for example. Add in Wii Ware in geniral and I don't see too many problems with the libriay of availible VC games. -You stupid dog. |

Complaining about it makes you sound like a 10 year old, since there are much better games coming out in every direction. Why the hell would you want games from the past? That's going backwards. |

Same with all of those companies that are either a) Bankrupt and were auctioned off b) Are second party for Microsoft or Sony. (Sony was a developer for Nintendo back in the day. :P)

So, I'd be pretty pissed if I were a Japanese person. And, Star Fox Command wasn't too good. It certainly drew from Star Fox 2, but it was also a fairly different game in its own right, especially in regards to controls and story. Quote:
You're telling me that the vast majority of Nintendo's games are crap? I find that difficult to believe. This isn't even counting the complete lack of GB/GBC/GBA games available which I mentioned earlier.
