So I went to gamestop and they actually DID have Battletoads.

I was looking through the bargain bin and I found it for 8 bucks.

Gamestop.

With any game older than a Playstation2 or Gamecube game.

Pictures or it did NOT happen. I've yet to see them carry anything older than 2000.

I've been to a Gamestop that stocked N64 Games.

That's how I got Mischief Makers (or I think it was Mischief Makers >_>)

I've actually been to gamestops in Denver, Broomfield, one nearby Washington D.C, one in San Antonio....

None of 'em had anything earlier than 2000. :/ The local Gamestops don't even take cartridge-based games unless they're Game Boy Advance. Course, none of 'em really had any PC games either, cause they push the used games more.

I've seen Gamestops with older games. Usually all the NES, SNES, and Genesis games together in a bin or something.

Earlier than 2000. Game Boy Advance was 2001, last I checked.

Like Val said, depends the GameStop. Now if only I could find a copy of Gauntlet: Dark Legacy for the GameCube, I'd be good to go.

That's nice. I wonder if there is a game store in downtown Toronto which has a mystical cache of mystery.

Lucky. All of the GameStops around here stopped stocking anything older than last gen in 2007. The oldest things I remember being in there were SNES games in 98.

Gotcha, I thought it was before that for some reason.

I think most GameStops only stock current and last-gen games. Some don't, though.

Also, I've yet to find a GameStop that's not in a mall or strip plaza.

I was going to say something, but then I realized that I've never seen one outside of that context either.

Also, a friend of mine works at GameStop. When he told me this, I asked him if a lot of people called asking for Battletoads. He just rolled his eyes and went, "I hate 4chan."
