Gonna sell my DS Lite

With the 3DS coming out next year I won't need my DS Lite anymore, and I'd like to sell it for a little cash. First thing: I haven't gotten any new games for it recently but I still play it on and off, and while I want to sell it before everyone else starts selling theirs and the value of it goes down, I don't want to end up with an urge to play one of my DS games while I'm waiting for the 3DS to come out (or for me to get the money to buy a 3DS). How long should I wait before I get rid of it?

Second thing: where should I sell it? I was planning on just dropping it off at a Game Crazy or something, but do any of you know somewhere I can get more money for it? Would it be worthwhile to try selling it on eBay or something like that? Thoughts, comments appreciated.

Most game stores just give credit these days. Try an actual pawnbroker. 3DS launches next year. Play your GBA if you've got one.
