The USD has been dropping below the AUSD lately, which means if I want the system I could buy the US version for around 100 dollars less. This is so ridiculous. Then again, I'll probably be able to import games cheaper and get them sooner than waiting for the AUS release, too. Nintendo of Australia has at least been sensible enough to do a tour to show off the 3DS. I'll be checking it out on the 25th or 26th. |

That never happened, and the guy you're thinking of is(was?) the attorney general of South Australia, who has nothing to do with WA. Hell, Duke Nukem Forever was just cleared with no censorship. |

Things are just cheaper in the states, for some reason. Possibly because there's no taxes on anything? I don't know anything about geopolitical supply chain finance. |

That's the only reason I can think of for making it have a completely different release window and be a month behind everyone else. As for the price, I have no clue what that's about. Maybe it's for gas? Although, I'm sure Japan is closer to Australia than America. <_> |
