GameCube to See New Downloadable Life on Wii U - Wii U News @ Nintendo Life Only downside I see is that it isn't compatible with Gamecube disks, which seems odd to me, but whatever. Any thoughts? |

I pretty much have all of the GCN games I've ever been interested in, so unless they're porting over some stuff that hasn't been released in the west - I couldn't care less.

This could be good. Main gc game I see improved by this is the original Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles which was kindof annoying, what with the multiplayer requiring at least two GBAs and two connector cables. Also, this could be good if you're like me and you have a HUEG list of games you'd like to try on GC but can't. So definitely boosts my confidence in this product. ^_^ Now for downloadable gba games that can connect to the WII U through the 3DS for pokemanz stuff. |

I just like the fact that it would come with nearly everything needed and you wouldn't necessarily have to buy anymore attachments like you used to. That was one of the worst Nintendo gimmicks ever. Sure it offered some interesting ideas, but back then it was hard to get the hardware. I think essentially Square's idea for using the GBA is essentially what Nintendo is now going to do with the Wii U screen-controller-thing. Now that I think about it, the original FF:CC would be better if they added online as well. Kinda still doubt it, but we'll see. Also have my fingers crossed for updated graphics and backwards compatibility with GC controllers. |

Not that that'll help if there's no controller slots for the GameCube controllers on the WiiU, but I don't see why we couldn't download Crystal Chronicles and use our DSes to play it, so I'm not worried if they actually use the easiest solution ever. ^ Ninja'd. Likewise, I liked the idea in general, but it was annoying at times. Especially with making us buy tons of stuff. The worst part is that you couldn't PAUSE the game while using the GBAs. Only honest complaint that affected gameplay. |

- I hadn't actually thought of that. xD that'd be kinda sweet. - I know if it's available early/at all, and I somehow manage to get my hands on a wii u then I'd like to get it since my old copy off CC just recently died. D':

Just like if we download Wind Waker or Four Swords Adventures, which are somewhat more likely to be available. You had no gaming stores around? That sucks, man. I feel for ya. And yes, as someone said before, and online Melee would rock. |
